This battery-powered igniter ignites the gas at the push of a button. Mounting key is ground You need to screw the ignitor bracket firmly and directly into the burner pan. Keep the ignition area away from any residual fire, rock, fire glass etc. You can use the screen to create voids around the ignitor. This void is filled with gas and fires much easier than an igniter covered with fire glass. Stainless steel faceplate provides professional installation for both push buttons and chrome key shut-off ball valves. Installation Tips Use existing holes to thread both wires from the bottom to the pan. Install the parka as close as possible to one of the outer gas holes. The key to a good spark is a good ground, so please make sure to pinch the wire between the pot and the bracket. The other end connects to the push button block. Insert the battery and press the button. Safety Warning Keep flammable materials away from ignitor area. Make sure the ignitor bracket is securely attached to the burner pan. This igniter is not suitable for high-fire jet burners or fire pits.
