Save yourself the money, time, stress, and damage. Go to a professional. I used this product, followed the directions exactly ( which by the way were missing some information) and not only chemically burned the skin under and around my eyebrows…. But also destroyed my eyelashes. From watching troubleshooting videos trying to figure out where I went wrong- I have found that the forms that you brush your eyelashes onto were misshapen and not smooth in my kit, they don’t tell you to only put the product at the bottom of the lashes, they don’t tell you that the chemicals will eat the glue you used to smooth your lashes down, the glue also didn’t keep the forms on my eyelids, the forms were too narrow at the base- causing my lashes to bend inward too sharply making them weak and bending the length into the crease of my eye. The mis shaped forms also made a wave in my lashes where it was collapsed in one section. I did not notice this until the chemicals were already on, and had been on. I processed for the minimum amount of time listed. My eyelashes look ridiculous and are no longer protecting my eyeballs. When I brush through them with a spoolie after washing my face, eyelashes come out and break off. These chemicals are too strong to be used so closely to the eyes and skin to be part of an at home kit. I’ve ended up spending an extra $150 on Latisse to try to fix what this kit has done. Lesson learned- NEVER AGAIN.

I have purchased this kit before a couple of years ago and it was good, so I purchased it again. This time the contents of bottles 3 & 4 were almost empty. I was disappointed but it’s still a good kit.

It actually works but for me it's nit a DIY. I tried twice to do it alone & it's not easy especially the brow pads don't stay on well even with the glue. But when I laid down & had my daughter do it for me, it's easier to do because of the gravity I guess, the pad somewhat stayed in place but It could be better, I wished it came like a self adhesive pad. Anyways, the lash lift worked I think. I don't have to use a curler to curl my lashes just apply mascara. It saves me time to get ready. I wonder how long will the curl/lift last.

So the first photo is my brows when I fill them in with pomade. The second is from December 3rd which was a little over a month after I tinted my brows. You can see I used no product and the only thing that rubs off is my eyeshadow. I wasn’t expecting much when I bought this because it seemed cheaper but the products were high quality. It’s been over a month since I permed/tinted my brows and they still look impeccable. I’ve noticed that the front parts need to be filled in more with a pencil as time passes but that’s just personal preference. The directions are super detailed and easy to follow which I absolutely love. There’s different sizes and the product is easy to use on your brows. Now, for why I knocked two stars off. Girl….if you want your lashes lifted please just go to a salon. The glue was terrible for keeping lashes up. It didn’t work. I even physically tried holding my lashes to the pad with a piece of cling wrap and my fingers and they still didn’t stay up so I ended up with half-bunched weirdly curled and crunchy lashes on one half of my eye. I will say that none of my lash or brow hairs fell out but seriously. Just go to a salon for your lashes unless you’re a professional.

I’ve never been that compelled to get an eyelash lift, but after seeing so many insta adds for some I decided to head to Amazon and purchase one to try. I read reviews and looked at images of a bunch of different kits and settled on this one. First I did what most people recommended, which was watch some YouTube tutorials. It didn’t matter what kit they were using because what I came to learn is they all have 3 steps (they call them different things based on what brand products they use) once you get the lashes glued. Getting the pad glued to my eyelid was the most challenging part. Then I did what one video instructed which was to place a piece of tape from upper eyelid over the eyebrow and onto the lower forehead. This helps get the eyelid taut. I trimmed a bit of the rubber pads ends off so it fit my eyelid properly, or it will be nearly impossible to get it glued on. I definitely didn’t do the best job getting the innermost and outermost lashes glued onto the pad, nor completely separating each lash from each other, ultimately the photos attached are how my first try went. I used a nail art tool similar to a toothpick(but pointier and made of metal) to break up the clumps and then added more glue to keep them in place. Your best bet is to start gluing from the outer lashes in small sections until you reach the inner lashes, because the glue dries too fast to get them all on and separate at one time. Also the step one and two products are only to be placed from the base to middle of the lashes, this is where you want the curl to occur. I did use the die, as you can see by the dark spot on my nose lol, and left that on for 20 minutes and they came out nice and dark. Overall I think with patience that anyone can do this themselves, or instruct someone else to do it to themselves. Highly recommend, made a massive difference, better than expected. Oh ps, there was the occasional very slight burning on my eyelid because I didn’t quite get the pad glued all the way down to my lash line, but within 20 minutes it felt better. Do Not get your eyelashes wet for 25-48 hours!
