Great taste, texture and price!
My whole family enjoys these! The taste is great, quality is great, and they do not fall apart! They are also quick to prepare and stays on great value compared to a lot of other options. It comes in a resealable bag so you can store them after use.

SO YUMMY AND QUICK!
This boba is sooooo much better, easier, faster to cook and DOES NOT break apart from the slightest touch of the bag, unlike the other brand on Amazon that sells boba. There's breaks apart from just touching the bag and takes 25-30mins to cook them! This brand is AMAZING! So much nicer and I don't have to wait around for it to cook. A boiling pot of water, a pinch of salt so they for sure don't stick, then I pour the boba in and stir it for like 20-30secs, turn the heat to low and let sit for 3-5mins and done!(I don't do a 10:1 ratio like it says, I do 6-8cups water to 1-1.5 cups of boba)

Didn't love the taste
Preparation was easy. Texture and price are both good, but I'm only giving four stars because the taste is slightly off, in my opinion.

Flavorless and disappointing
Very disappointing! No flavor! The texture is right, and I know I cooked them right, but normally tapioca has a little bit of sweetness to them. They are absolutely flavorless. 😢

Read the directions before making but it is great!
These are some yummy and make drinking Boba tea at home a frequent possibility. Just please read the instructions first and do not think you can "use common sense" and figure it out. Please take my personal experience as your shining example. Opening this bag, I I just through the entire top length, even though I know it was unsealable. I scooped out 2 tablespoons worth for my freshly brewed hot cappuccino and happily dumped them in. They did not get soft immediately and I thought maybe they needed a little longer. I went to do something else and then came back 10 mins later. Still hard but no longer this dusted white powder kind that you see in the window in the display picture. This is the brilliant moment I chose to go and search the back of the bag for actual directions. This is when I read that it would take more common sense than I apparently possessed and I should have dumped x amount in a vat of boiling water for 10 mins, then place those freshly wet puppies in a tub of ice cold water to stop the hot water proceed. Then proceed to let them dry for 15 minutes AND then use them. I clearly thought the rules did not apply to me but learned otherwise. I forced myself to suck down my cap through slitted lips ever so slowly so as not to get a hard black bead in my mouth. Lesson learned and I mourned a little as I threw away the test batch that I had ruined.Next time around, I followed the directions as provided and was treated to a perfect cup of beads that I happily munched on with my coffee. Story time over! Once opened, it's better to transfer this deck to a gallon ziploc bag. Follow the directions and it will all come out fine! Taste just like store bought yumminess! Great amount for the price and you can make at least 30 drinks for the price of one outside your house. Well worth it!Me tested, approved and recommended!

Overall, it's a huge success, and I'm no longer a boba failure.
This bag of... things... arrived. A hefty bag, let me tell you. Like, I could probably use it as a makeshift pillow in a pinch. Don't judge. The instructions? Now I'm deathly allergic to instructions, like most men, but I know from experience that's a bad move here. Yes, I've tried to make boba before. Keyword: "tried". It was not good. Quite bad before. So I knew this time I'd have to suck it up and power through... reading the instructions. And we were rewarded for it. Think of instant rice, if the rice wasn't mushy puke after. That's basically what this is, minus the mushy puke part. Add 10x parts water and set it to boil. Once it starts boiling, add 1x part boba. I blacked out for a few moments as "reading the instructions" caught up to me, and when I awoke, the boba was starting to float. Then I pulled them from the water and put them in an ice bath. The result? Winning. Like the Stanley Cup of Boba. Or World Championships of Ping Pong in Asia. I made some iced tea and threw them in.The texture... this is exactly what you'd expect from boba. Like a high end asian tea shop that charges $8 per cup. If you've never had boba before, think gummy, but less... gummy bear-ish. More... substantial. Like a tiny, edible bouncy ball. Not like the gooey or crunchy messes that I made on my prior failures. The taste? Neutral. Like a blank canvas for your sweet tea concoctions. Spoiler alert: when you boil your water, you're supposed to add some sugar if you want it infused into the boba. Alternatively, you can store them in sugar syrup after they're cooked and they'll suck up a little sweetness. Boba shops usually use do the latter, and sweeten with brown sugar or muscavado sugar.Overall, it's a huge success, and I'm no longer a boba failure.

Great taste and super easy to prepare
These boba pearls taste just like the ones I get at my local bubble tea shop. They cook up in only 5 minutes, which is so convenient compared to other brands that can take 20 - 30 minutes. The texture comes out soft yet chewy, with that perfect bouncy bite that makes bubble tea so fun. The taste is clean, slightly sweet, and perfect for milk tea or iced coffee drinks. The 2.2 lb bag is a generous size and lasts quite a while, especially since the pearls keep well in the sealed packaging. For the price, I think the value is excellent compared to buying smaller packs. And it is so much cheaper to make boba tea at home compared to getting them from tea shop. The quality feels consistent every time I make a batch, and the pearls hold their shape without turning mushy. For anyone who loves boba, this is a great choice.
