I never thought I would be needing to check for predators in the middle of a decent sized city in Florida, but maybe that's because I am English. Lately there have been plenty of reports of coyotes around here at night and I thought it best to have a night vision capability. (An alligator did get into the pond at our property a few years ago, but did so in daylight!) Raccoons are easy enough to spot and seem to be more common than cats around here. But imagine this Englishman's surprise when I saw through this device a black bear, blacker even than the dense thicket of trees behind it, on an unlit road between my mother in laws house and our home.I appreciate the textured rubber grips and being able to take pictures. Including a 32 GB microSD card was a very welcome surprise. But mostly I am glad that it will now be possible to spot any of those coyotes should they turn up n our property or nearby.

These night vision goggles are great, they come with a digital display screen in high definition, they're lightweight and come with a neck strap for easy carrying. Several brightness settings from the screen as well as the lenses. Comes with a 64 GB memory card great value

These are fun, lightweight, and functional, but I would suggest they're best for watching nocturnal critters or as a novelty for a few reasons, which will be below. For my more aggressive sensibilities (think Owen Wilson in Night at the Museum: "We're men! We fight! It's what we do!") they're arguably less useful. I would not take them to an overnight airsoft scenario, even as a spotter.1. They're not binoculars - you're looking at a single flat screen, so no depth perception. That **also** means they illuminate your face. No being sneaky sneaky ninja with these.2. They're definitely NOT starlight. No image intensification tube here - in darkness with the IR illuminator off you will see what war is good for (absolutely nothing, according to Edwin Starr).3. These will make you visible, including to that racoon you're trying to stop getting into your garbage. In addition to the blue illuminated buttons on top and the screen illuminating your face, the IR illuminator is very much visible to the naked eye. The screen gives off enough light that you can use it as a flashlight to get around in the dark.That all said, they are fairly compact and pretty easy to use. The picture quality is completely usable, and they're obviously not priced like operator-quality NODs, so I think they're a good value if your use case isn't hindered by the above restrictions.

This comes with everything you need to get started being a night watcher.After you turn it on, the menu buttons are backlite for easy use. You can record video &/or snap pics. You can see in color or black & white.The display is a nice size. I recommend you have fun with these too.

The media could not be loaded. this is a really useful night vision binocular with video/still functions. I shot the video below without taking time to adjust focus or try for optimal night vision settings. I turned off the NV for a few seconds toward the end to show what I could see without. It was quite dark outside and the resulting image was like shining a very bright spotlight on my dog. There's no visible light coming from the binoculars. So bottom line is you can see something in the yard with it that you can't see without it. I played around a little with the regular visible light camera during the daytime but decided I'd really prefer to try out the nighttime functions since that's what I'll be using it for. Controls take a bit to get used to but that's to be expected. It was easy to watch the video on the big screen of the binoculars and easy to transfer the files to my iMac and edit the video.

really solid and well designed.The images are really clear, and it takes good pictures or videos depending on your choice.Love that you have the option to put it on black and white. Will order again.

The media could not be loaded. The first thing I notice about these night vision binoculars is how quickly I can switch hands to hold it because of the textured rubber grip on both sides. It is definitely convenient to explore the different lighting modes and take pictures with the dedicated function buttons instead of fumbling though a layered menu. These binoculars feel pretty durable overall and I also like how it included a 32 GB microSD card for storage(this is the max the device can handle according to the manual).
