These Dove were beautiful with the wings partially extended. The wings felt stiff so I was afraid to open or close them but they were perfect! Large and well made.

Perfect Perfect

I used two doves to represent a sacrifice being brought to a temple in a biblical pageant. They were in an wooden box with open slats so that you could see the doves as they were carried in.I bought the doves because of their size. They are larger than most of the doves available on-line. This made them visible from a distance.One of the two doves was damaged, likely when it was placed in the mailing box. The tail was off and the styrofoam body was cracked. The doves are quite fragile and will not tolerate a lot of handling. I was able to glue things back together. You must be very careful to have clean hands when working with the doves so that you don't get spots on the bodies.I did not try to make the doves stand up by themselves or to manipulate the wings. I did wire the feet to my wooden box so that they looked like they were standing.They met my need and have been saved for future events.

Love the adjustable wing span. Adds a special touch to Christmas trees and large holiday wreaths.

So I wasn't expecting the bulging eyes and the odd buttons on the bird's nose. I guess I'm a bit biased, because I'm married to a taxidermist...but this wasn't quite as elegant/realistic as I was hoping for. lol

The media could not be loaded. As described. Arrived well packagedIt has a couple of metal wires sticking out past the feet so you can attach it to things.I stapled the wires to the top of the cross to get the dove to stay on top.

It was perfect what I needed it for. Everyone loved it.
