Cartoons from The New Yorker 2019 Day-to-Day Calendar

I have always admired the cartoons of the New Yorker Magazine. Always a little more sophisticated, cerebral and cooler than the rest. Sometimes I may not be sufficiently sophisticated, cerebral or cool enough. Or maybe some are too sophisticated, too cerebral or too cool. And that is sorta the kind of punch line that one can expect from the New Yorker. . So far this year the Cartoons from The New Yorker 2019 Day-to-Day Calendar have been uneven.How important are the cartoons in the New Yorker? They are the inspiration to a serio-comic documentary: Very Semi-. There is even a published collections called: The Best of the Rejection Collection: 293 Cartoons That Were Too Dumb, Too Dark, or Too Naughty for The New YorkerI will be getting both.2019 so far, let down aside, I still recommend this calendar, and will be getting more from time to time in the future. The New Yorker Cartoon Calendar remains one of may favorite daily tear off calendars.

One year, I picked up this calendar on sale and took it to work. Ever since, I have purchased the calendar as the office Christmas gift, and it has earned a special spot on top of the microwave. It's a great conversation-starter, even for visitors. More than one person has commented that It's amazing how prescient the cartoons are, considering they are chosen far in advance.

Starting your day with a fresh comic from the New Yorker is always a wise decision.

The humor of The New Yorker cartoons is consistent and if you enjoy those, you will enjoy this. I use the calendar at home and it is disappointing that the weekend calendar page is shared because there is no new cartoon to read on Sunday as I wait for the kettle to boil.

Always like this for my daily tear off calendar. Happy that they marked it down early on b/c I don't ever pay full price for a calendar, but hate to wait half a month to get a deal. I also like that this one has refrained from printing trivia, etc on the back -- I like to use them for note paper....

Simply the best way to count your days!

Great boss’ day gift, she loved it. The box did come crushed though, which is not ideal when purchasing a gift!

Regalare un calendario per natale potrebbe sembrare un'idea un po' insulsa e scontata. Invece quando si tratta di un calendario come "Cartoons from The New Yorker" tutto si trasforma in un'idea chic e originale, inoltre è divertente e stimolante. Un ottimo oggetto di design al posto di un coffie table book oppure sulla scrivania.Anche chi ha ricevuto in regalo questo prodotto è rimasto piacevolmente stupito ed entusiasta. Consigliato.P.S. purtroppo la scatola è arrivata un po' schiacciata e rovinata. Comprensibile, ma non strappa le 5 stelle.

Este es un calendario de esos que solían estar en la cocina, y de los cuáles ibas arrancando una hoja cada día. Sólo que este calendario es para escritorio y contiene un cartoon de la afamada revista "New Yorker". Definitivamente pienso volver a adquirirlo el próximo año! Es una manera de empezar tus días con una sonrisa.This is a nice calendar like those that use to hang in the kitchen and you remove a page every day. It includes very nice New Yorker's cartoons. So it is a nice way to start your day with a smile.
