KONGRPA23E Phatz Pig - Medium

Disappointed at first, but pleased now.
I was disappointed with this at first, as it's smaller than I expected (my fault for not noticing the size measurements) and it's also not quite the same as the advertised photos. However, it is great! My puppy loves this - and now so do I.It's a great size for this horrible teething stage, as I can try to guide her away from attacking everything with it (this sometimes works - this toy and the King teething toy) as it for in my hand well for squeaks and diversion tactics.I'm not convinced on how long it will last, as after one evening, of not a lot of chewing, she has already chewed through half of its tail and and pierced its ears.I'll try to remember to come back and update in that.*Update*After 3 weeks of a fair amount of abuse pig is holding up really quite well, other than both his ears are now in a terrible state and his tail is tatters. There is only slight wear from her teeth on the body. Photos attached of how it's holding up now. This has become my puppy's favourite toy. She loves to play fetch with this and will happily spend a little while quietly playing away with it in her own or flipping him up in the air.

Not fit for purpose and in my opinion in breach of sale of goods act.
Whilst most manufacturers understandably state that dog chew toys are not indestructible, in order to be sold in the UK they do need to be fit for purpose - in this case being repeatedly chewed - and last a “reasonable” amount of time. I do not believe that less than 5 minutes would be considered reasonable by any reasonable person, making this toy, by default not fit for the purpose it was intended. If my 11 week old Boston Terrier can, literally rip pieces right off it which I am now waiting and hoping will transit safely through her system then clearly something is very wrong with this product. I also have the hippo which is put away for Xmas and now will be binned to avoid risk to my pet - please spare your own dogs and wallet and avoid this product.

The only toy my little rascal cannot dismember!
The quality of material and workmanship in these toys is second to none... and I have tried them all, (my little hound has quickly ripped through every other soft toy I have bought for her). Despite the high quality of the item it is sensibly priced and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. They also come in varying sizes and "species" - I have got a Hippo for my puppy and the pig is a xmas gift for her sister.

Tough toy!
This little pig is so well made! It’s thick and durable and for once my Border Terrier hadn’t just ripped a toy to pieces within minutes. He loves it! I will be buying another for sure.

Not worth the money
Lots of fun for my small Jack Tzu little one, but gone in under 15 minutes. First went the ears, then the hind hoofs, then she started defluffing it. We have lots of other Kong toys, but these soft ones are just not worth the money. Glad I bought it here though as pets at home sell them for an additional £5 compared to the Amazon price.

Kong toys are best
Our Labrador pup loves this toy and it's incredibly well made and durable. It's the only chew toy he hasn't pulverized. Definitely recommend.

Not durable
Easily shredded within five minutes by a miniature sausage dog. Wouldn’t buy again

My Cockapoo destroyed it in 15 mins....
I was looking for a toy she wouldnt destroy and thought because the other items I got from this brand were so very good that this pig would also last........alas no Nosie Rosie chewed and partially decapitated and unstuffed the pig in near record time....she then returned to her collection of stones which she chews when the squeak stopped!
