The assembly only took a couple hours. The one thing that caused an issue was the spacers that fit into the quads arms. They were so long that the supplied longer screws could not be threaded into the captive nut in the arm. I had to chuck them up in a lathe a face each one off by about .0625" (1/16") in length to get the threads to engage. They worked well and shored up the motor mounts perfectly.

Fits 2016 phantom 3 standard perfectly. Helps sustain use of older drone saves $ and time of replacing casting. Suggest using telltale marks on all screws to check if they are loosening over time. Used loctite green post assembly. Time will tell if it holds but it’s looking good so far.

Fit the drone perfectly. used all 6 screws on each arm although not the correct allen for the spacer screws, but not a deal breaker

Item is machined pretty good spacers correct height because of the contour of the plastic needs that length. Screws for motors are too long by 2 mm . I bought screws on Amazon to go with it 3mm X 10mm flat head for $7 for 50.Safer then sorry

So excited they had these due to already dealing with stress cracks. I guess I got the old style… thanks a lot for that. Pieces don’t fit, beware when putting the screws that are way to long into your motors. Didn’t expect that. I want my money back since my motor now has been compromised. Not happy . Anyone need pics just ask.

I have a Phantom 3 Std. and it has some stress cracks in two of the motor mounts. These reinforcements fit perfectly with no modification. I did put on some blue loctite for security of the screws. Noted some reviews said you had to modify the spacers but they are actually the correct height for the curve and match up to the support bracket that is flat. So don't modify as it will stress the new bracket.
