12V 5AH SLA Battery Replacement for Rotary Lawn Mower 189589

Replaced the battery in my Razor scooter and it works great!

I bought this battery for my 12 yr old craftsman lawnmower. I couldn’t find an OEM battery locally (like the one pictured) anywhere. The ones I found on line were very expensive and I had no guarantee it was a new battery. So I gave this one a shot. It turned out to be a good investment. It was very close to the same size as the original, same electrical capacities as the original. I had no problem fitting it into the plastic housing under my lawnmower handle. All I had to do was cut the leads off the old battery, add 3/16 female spade connectors (also pictured) to the wire lead ends, push the terminals onto the new battery terminals and it was good to go. After connecting the leads, I charged it for 24 hours and so far it’s been starting my mower as good as the original battery when it was new. I’m happy with it so far and happier with the price!

Reasonably priced and very quick delivery. This is the third battery I have purchased for my Craftsman electric start mower and so far seems to be the best battery for the price.

Battery Size is larger then original had to modify case holder . Battery took charge and seems to work ok

I ordered this battery as a replacement for a factory part number 189589. It is slightly different but fit in the carrier without any problems. You will have to use the pigtail from the old battery, very easy to do. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS OUTSTANDING .

This was listed as compatible for battery number 189589, but there is no way it fits the lawn mower!Now, they say it's non returnable due to dangerous materials. It came to me with the same dangerous materials! Bad deal

The battery appears to function ok, however I have not yet had time to use the Lawnmower that I purchased it for.

I had to rewire it but it's working just fine now. D ROBERTS
