I honestly didn't expect much from a blender that fits in my cupholder, but the QUIK A3 Portable Blender really surprised me. I got it mainly for protein shakes and quick fruit smoothies after the gym, and it's turned into one of those things I now toss into my bag without thinking. It is cordless, super compact, and charges via USB-C, which is great since I already have a million of those cables around.What I love:+ Powerful little motor: The 17,000 RPM speed and multi blade setup actually crushes ice. Not just soft fruits, real ice.+ Totally portable: At 9.5 inches tall, it's like carrying a tall water bottle.+ No spills, no worries: There's a built-in safety switch so it won't accidentally turn on inside your bag.+ BPA-free: The plastic doesn't have that weird smell some cheaper gadgets have. I feel good about drinking directly from it.+ Easy clean-up: Just add water and a drop of soap, blend, and rinse. Done in under a minute.+ Battery life is solid: The dual battery lasts several blends on one charge, and it only takes a few hours to juice up fully.A couple small downsides:- It's not dishwasher safe.- It's not meant to replace a full sized kitchen blender. You can make one good-sized smoothie, but don't expect to meal prep with it.- The base doesn't detach from the cup, so you have to be careful when rinsing the bottom area.Who it's ideal for:Anyone who wants a simple way to make smoothies, shakes, or protein drinks on the go.My final thoughts:If you're looking for something small, powerful, this blender gets it right. It's not trying to be a Vitamix, and that's okay. For quick blends anytime, anywhere, it does exactly what you need, and it's honestly kind of fun to use.

The personal blender is just that...personal as in one serving. It is a small unit and easy to use for basic beverage needs. I found it to be working well and it did not have a problem with frozen strawberries blending with my protein liquid. The base has the motor, which you do hear, but not too bad. All parts are of good construction and easy to clean...but NOT the base with the motor!!!All pieces were there with the exception of the "travel" top that you would screw onto the clear plastic center piece after you are finished blending. In order to drink from it, you would unscrew the top piece with the strap and drink out of it that way. With the base still attached, it is harder to manage unless you pour the contents into a separate glass.I haven't tried it on crushing ice yet, but the six blades went through frozen whole strawberries with no problem. The blades are different sizes and work well, but make sure that you separate the base before washing. That part should NOT be put in a dishwasher! Technically, you can wash it out by hand in less than a minute.It comes with a USB cord to charge it, but mine was already charged out of the box. I accidentally hit the button and it came on; a white light above the power button lit up. There are no readouts on it, just the white light. Also note, there are no speed settings for different functions. It's just a cute little workhorse for basic needs really. Oh, but one other thing....that strap on the top piece does NOT come off, so if you put it in the dishwasher, it WILL get wet and need to air dry before using it again. Bummer!!!I recommend it, but not necessarily for travel...unless you want to do extra work to maintain it on the go. For the drawbacks, I can only rate it four stars.
