This is for a ev mountain bike, on road biking {no jumping} trips, cruising around town, Walmart, etc, rock roads, bumps, rough roads, graded roads, had to install the halo xl extended skewers as the fork material is wider than the cheap fork that came on the bike , which is ok with me for security against theft better than the lever style skewers that the front wheel could easily be stolen, went with this and looks well built at half the price of a suntour

Finally got to ride it. No rebound tops out with a hard clunk. Hard to lock out you have to pull up on the bars while turning the lockout almost impossible while in motion. I know it's a 70.00 fork but you would be better off with a rigid fork at least it wouldn't weigh a ton

Feels very similar in both quality and ride to the Suntor XCT shocks that came with a few of my "box store" bikes. Needed a shock to build a cheap bike for a friend and this fit the bill! Me and him are skinny dudes tho if you're 200+lbs you'll probably need more spring-rate.. It is a little softer than the Suntors but as the person the bike was for weighs maybe 150lbs it was perfect!

Returned this item - it is dangerous for any actual trail use - the fork rebound is such that it will break itself after much use. Would be fine for a beach cruiser or for someone looking to have a softer ride to the store on 100% paved roads. I do not advise using this offroad!

Im not sure if it's just a low quality part or there is some defect. No shock should rebound and hit it's stop. I have to take the whole thing apart to return. look for a better quality part...
