It just works
Bought this to track employee's work times. Setup was easy, the interface is clear and user-friendly. Out of the box, this device would support up to 25 users before an additional license is needed. The data can be obtained directly from the device with a USB drive or if the software is installed and on the same data network via Wi-Fi or Ethernet you can pull the data as needed from the pc with the installed software. You can sync many Clocks to the same software if you have more than one location. The accompanying guides weren't fully clear after reading some questions that did require tech support. Support for me was only available via chat, but they responded rather quickly and was very helpful every time. The unit is simple, reliable, and works as designed. If you are in the market for a time clock where employees need to use their finger print to log in and out, then this should be a good fit.

Updated Review: This company is NOT SCAM!
There are NO monthly fees, after clarifying the misunderstanding with the company. They also have great communication with great response times. You do however have to pay monthly fees for software updates, however the company assured me that these updates are not crucial and your device should still work. There is misleading information on the ad, computime could alleviate this by just being super upfront on the ad. Yes no monthly fees, however, if you want device to be updated with the latest software update then yes have to pay monthly. This was not in the ad, why there is a perception of being a SCAM company. Computime is a legit company though with good customer service at least from a communication and tech support standpoint. The device itself is good but not great will get the job done. The problem is how complicated it can be and not really user friendly. You will have to play around with the device a lot to feel comfortable. If you need a simple timekeeping function with biometrics this is a good option, but other than not so much. There addon's you have to purchase like an increase of users and extend tech support.Hopefully, this review helps you make a sound decision when buying a biometric timekeeping device for your small business.

DO NOT BUY
Called several times leave message not call backThis finger print for this clock is not dependable it on & off, we have to unplugged several time for our staff to punch it again not a reliable clock .not a easy setup, the software is simple but complicated to use.Updated: This time clock will freeze once every week, we needed to unplug the power and it work normally but when we ran the report, we have lost all the WIFI setup and as I said early the software for this Clock was very complicated to run a Time sheets reports. Finally I give up this Clock and went back to the traditional way "Time Card" more reliable.

Finally got rid of the PC ball and chain!
Small business, only using this in one location so far, fully plan to upgrade all three to this system.Original biometric system was attached to the PC, sensors broke down, had to keep a seriously ancient pc around just to avoid having to pay for them to "migrate" stuff. Can we say no thanks? This was pretty easy to set up. Read the sheets that come with it, and my cd was messed up and couldn't install properly, but I just nabbed everything I needed off their website (in the paperwork) and voila! You can use it wired or wireless networking and as long as the computer you install the timecard software onto is on the same local network, you can download it from anywhere! (Clearly this was absolutely not the case for us before). I found it easy to use the computer to do all the setup and just uploaded everything to the unit.Fingerprinting staff went quickly and easily. I think I had 7 people enrolled in ten minutes. There aren't too many missed punches and those that are seem to be (mis?)timing issues. The virtual time cards are easy to read and understand. We don't need or use any of the more complicated features as there's only one break we have employees clock out for.I'm really quite happy with this purchase and intend to get a couple more units.

Minimal features
Just set this up for our office. Features are very minimal. If you want to have extra features, you have to pay for it. For example - you can only setup one shift and create rules for that shift. If you have other shifts, you have to upgrade.Other than that, fingerprint scanner is great! It reads each time and does it correctly! Setup is a bit difficult. Luckily, we have an IT business, as well. If you just need something to document clock in and clock outs, with lunch breaks, this is perfect! Very simple and reports are so easy to read!

5 stars
This is perfect! I had a small issue setting up one part and tech support walked me through it in about 3 minutes. The finger print works great every time. Overall I thought set up was a piece of cake, my team has no issues using it. It gives you reports of different things. I now know what I've spent in payroll and can check time in and out very easily. Also an auto poll feature that will automatically pull time over every day from clock to software at whatever time you choose. 5 stars. 100% satisfied. I have only used it for 3 weeks so I cannot comment on long term use.

Fingerprint reader failed after a year
It's an okay product that's a little clunky and awkward to set up, but once it's running and you get used to using the software, etc., it gets the job done. We have 2 of these units and one of them has a fingerprint reader that has STOPPED working after a year. So now the biometric function is useless and our employees have to punch in their codes the "old fashioned" way which is obviously slower.

Once you get through set up its great
A bit “clunky” in the setting up. You’ll need to contact customer support. They are knowledgeable and can help you through it. Once they help with set up and you get the employees entered - this thing is a great product. Finger print works great. Has an option for just code entry as well. I like the way it tallies up regular hours and OT for me. Nice and easy to read to do payroll.
