Japanese Candy Box Assortment 40 Dagashi Snacks & Candy, Gum, Gummies, Ramune

This arrived earlier than expected and the box had everything that it was supposed to. There was a pamphlet that explained what was included in the box and what flavors and type of snack/candy each item was. We haven't tried all of the candy yet, but did try the savory snacks and a few candies. I gave the flavor 4 stars because we didn't like most of the savory snacks, but have liked the candy and sweet snacks so far. But there is a lot to choose from and no duplications.

This is one I would purchase again for small candy and to try new flavors. My son was happy with the variety of interesting and sweet choices. Box came right away and packed carefully so nothing was broke. My only downside was the box itself was just a plain cardboard box so it wouldn’t be great gift presentation.The value is fair compared to all the online prices and I’m not paying extra for delivery as some boxes charge up to 7.99 for delivery. Where I live now- there isn’t any markets for candy or flavors from other counties. I understand that I’m paying for that experience, I’m okay with this boxes price point and variety.

Best dagashi box I’ve ordered so far. I don’t have a snack unboxing channel or anything special but I buy these frequently as opposed to snack box subscriptions. I’ve become a connoisseur of these dagashi snack boxes and this is one of the best ones!First off, I normally have to wait several weeks for my dagashi to ship from Japan... it arrived in a few business days.Some dagashi snack boxes on amazon have melted candies... but nothing in my Japan2Oz order was melted or damaged, everything was thickly packed and well-cared for.The selection is normally so-so for the cheaper boxes ($5-15) and only a bit better for the more expensive box, there were just so many snacks in this for the price and they didn’t skimp on the candy. There’s plenty of umaibo, chocolate umaibo, ramune candy, cakes, chips, etc. the variety was very impressive!Thank you!

The first thing to know is that this is mostly individually wrapped small items (expect mostly items the size of a single Starburst rather than 40 fun-sized packs and you won't be disappointed). That said, there was a great assortment of items, my son loved the tastes of all of them, and most were treats we had never seen in our deep dives into the candy aisles at our local Asian markets :) It came padded with Japanese newspaper, which was an extra fun surprise!

i was purchasing this item to try something different on my YOUTUBE CHANNEL " THE TABLE" video! and it was a fun adventure you never know what flavors other people from other countries eat until you try it for yourself this was a great experience and a great unique selection of flavors not found here in America if you have never tried it BUY IT you will have a fun time exploring whats out there!

I really liked the snacks that came in the box. There were sweet, savory, and sour. I really loved a chocolate flavored puff that was included. However, the pieces were very small, and there were a lot of small pieces of gum. I wish they had names or descriptions of what we ate. I can read some Japanese, so it wasn't too difficult for me, but for others it might. Someone could be allergic to the product, so it's better to have a description. Overall, it's a cute box with some nice candy and it includes 2 diy snack and drink. Great job!

This was a father’s day gift to my husband from our daughter. He loves interesting snacks and she’s interested in Japanese culture. I bought 2 boxes so they could choose snacks to try together.Both boxes were not identical. There were a few things that were unique to each box but most of the snacks were the same. There was a great and fun variety. They very much enjoyed the snacks and I tried a few myself. There was a nice selection of savory among the sweets. I would definitely purchase this again as a gift for someone.

My friend was going through a rough time and her mental health already wasn’t the best, so I bought this box of Japanese snacks and had it shipped to her house. She was ecstatic when it arrived and shared every last treat with her family. She told me each snack was delicious and believed they were of much higher quality than American snacks - which I can believe since I’m American too. I will be buying this again.
