Excellent product
Stand has wide legs with rubber feet that keep it stable. The base and cover of the rod are covered with a soft fabric to protect the flute surface. Excellent product with fast delivery.

not bad
but there are others that are a bit more sturdy. I use this for clarinet and flute. Easy to assemble and carry, as it breaks down well.

flute stand is very sturdy
I had never had a stand before this and find it extremely useful. I really didn't like having to set my flute down on certain places such as metal folding chairs where it wasn't secure. This stand is easy to put together, small to carry and very sturdy when assembled. I also like the material around the part that is inserted in the flute for extra protection against scratching.

The HollywoodWinds Flute Stand Is Topple-proof.
Flute stands can topple and not stand up. My HollywoodWinds has a sturdy base and is topple-proof. The stand is covered with a soft, velvety material to protect my flute from getting scratched. I want to set my flute on a stand after practicing, rather than putting it back in the case, because it's important that the lip and head joint remain in the exact same place when I resume practice to get the intended benefit of practicing long-tones. This flute stand folds up nicely and easily as well. I believe flute stands are essential for proper practice, and I could not ask for more than this one.

Good for B and C foots
This has a long post so it will hold a B foot flute without any problem. It's legs are wide and secure enough to hold the flutes. So I bought a couple of them. Good for B and C foots. Just watch that the two legs will not get together. Normally it will not, though.
