Artemis Fowl: 8 Book Collection

If you've discovered the Artemis Fowl books because of the film, then just know that the books are a million times better than the film in every single way. The film is bad. If you've not read the books you might have thought the film was ok, but everything about the story and the characters is better in the books. In fact the film has so little resemblance to the books, there is almost literally no comparison. In the books Artemis really is a criminal mastermind, and each of the eight books in the series tracks the change in his character as he interacts with the Lower Earth People. The set I got is in the pictures that go with this review. It is not the same set that is in item's pictures on Amazon, however I'm not too fussed about that. The bold colours of the set on the Amazon page is better I think, but I'm still happy with the set I've got. The RRP on the back of each book is £6.99, eight books, therefore it could have cost £55.92 at full price, so the £17.89 or thereabouts that I paid is an absolute bargain. Less than £2.50 per book is fantastic value for money. I bought this set to give to my daughter as she liked the film (she's young, forgive her) so I would love her to enjoy the books.

Brought as a gift for my Granddaughter. She absolutely loves them. Don't be put off by the TV adaption. The books are far superior and fun and exciting for all ages.

Bought for my son as I read the first few as a kid when they were new out. I had no idea there’d ended up being so many! Fond memories as a kid. My 9yr old is enjoying it, he can read but I read these to him. There’s some surprisingly difficult words so it is more suited to a teenager if reading themselves but he’s following it at 9. Surprised at how much of an anti-hero Artemis is, I didn’t remember him being as cruel as he can be!

Got it as a present for my teen boy and he absolutely loved it.

Great price and good as a party bag filler for 10 year olds. Rather use this than more plastic 😁

Nine year old son can't put them down, wants to be Artemis Fowl for world book day. What more could I want from a book for him?!

The books are wonderful . I thought they would be hardcover for the price . so disappointed in that manner . The item said hard cover and that is why I choose them . Arrival time was acceptable .

Da ich die Bücher erst noch lesen muss kann ich zur Story noch keine Spoiler geben jedoch zur Aufmachung der Bücher. Grundsätzlich nicht die beste Taschenbuch Quallität aber solide wenn man davon absieht das die Farbe der Außencover klebrig ist. Da ich die Bücher 📚 in Klarsichtfolie eingebunden habe stellt dies für mich kein Problem dar. Die Bücher kommen in einem Bündel das durch ein dickes,schmales Kunststoffband zusammengeschnürt und gehalten wird. Dieses Packet wurde dann mit Folie verschweißt jedoch so das die Bücher Safe sind. Ansonsten der übliche 📦. Preislich für die acht Bücher gut und gerechtfertigt auch wenn die einzelnen Bücher eher dünn sind und sich in einem Tag sicher bewältigen lassen (also x 8).
