Profile Designs Jammer GT Aerobars

So, I'd thought of aero bars as being for the obsessive lycra-clad folks, sacrificing comfort for speed, but I tend to get hand numbness pretty quickly if I'm putting weight on my wrists. It occurred to me that aero bars might be a solution--and they are! I put these on a Trek FX with 70mm risers. I wasn't fast before, I'm not fast after. But, now I can be on the bike for 20 miles and my hands and wrists are fine. My shoulders are a bit sore; not enough to really bother me and not surprising after seven hours or so over the last three days cycling in an unfamiliar position.I'm also finding these a lot easier to adapt to than I expected. I'm 5'4" and the length of these feels right, but I imagine they'd be on the short side if I had longer arms, as other reviewers suggest. I felt unstable and uncertain for the first hour or two, now I'm fine. Balancing is different, but feels more natural to me than drop bars (which I've never really liked). Taking one arm off for shifting or light braking is easy; getting on and off the aero bars is easy. I wish I'd gotten these things years ago.

Removed aero bars from my bike a few years ago and liked the simicity and what felt like more nimbleness. Missed the aero option and attached the GT. While slightly short I prefer design and recommend the product. Took three tweaks on the first ride to settle on the best position. Take you Allen wrench on that first ride.

These were very easy to setup and get started with. I enjoy the elbow pads, very comfortable. My only issue was that the bars were a little short and did not let me extend my hands out as far as they wanted to go. I am 6'0". I would suggest that if you are on the taller side, or want a more aggressive position, you'll probably want longer bar extensions. I have recently swapped out my jammer bars with the Profile Designs T2+ bars and all is well.

Good product, had to modify to fit the bars on my bike. Would be nice to see a stats for the minimum circumphrance of the handlebar that this fits.I am dissappointed that the bars are not an inch longer. But overall they are working well.Longer bars from elbow to hand, would be nice, just 1 inch or so. Circumfrance of the handlebar cannot be the small bars. (I fixed with sprinkler pipe PCV.

Very comfortable, and extremely adjustable for just the right fit. No problem installing them unlike other comments, just me and and Allen key. It did however take a bit to get the fit perfect but it is dialed in and great now. Gives my wrists a break from the hoods and a bit of added aero. They are also short enough that I don't have to change my base riding position, unlike a true tribute that needs very different geometry. This is made for road bikes and works great at that.

Bars are difficult to install although screws are super tightened - bars move up and down making it dangerous to keep control of your bike.

These hammer style Aero bars are designed to fit a road bikes geometry and give your body a more streamlined position. They work great, installed easily, and are comforatable to use. On a straightaway the reduced wind profile usually gives me about 2 MPH at 20 with no extra effort, and has boosted my Max speed considerably. Get these

Ich hatte recht frühzeitig diesen Lenker gekauft, um Ihn Wreihnachten zu verschenken; Ich hatte Ihn auch nicht ausgepackt, da ich Ihn weiter versenden wollte. Leider erkannte ich viel zu spät, dass ich einen weißen, fast geraden Lenkeraufsatz erhalten hatte. Zwar kann man so auch fahren, aber seinen Zweck erfüllte er so nur zum teil. Sehr schade und sehr ärgerlich.
