Plants are loving it
Used one 9l bag of Aqua Soil with 7 20lb bags of Eco Complete where the plants would be and covered it with the Eco complete since it is a very fine grain which is great for root growth. The ammonia started the biologic quickly and after 2 weeks, the ammonia levels were already to 0. I used this product in the areas. 150 gal tank

Good soil
So far this soil has worked well for my tank. Already getting a good amount of plant growth, even though the tank is still new and cycling with just plants, no fish. Water tested high ammonia and nitrate, but there is no bacteria built up. I expect it to drop after a few more weeks. Using this along with Eco compete, so a bit difficult to give a completely accurate review.

Excellent fine substrate for delicate plants
I used this to top off some coarser soil to plant HC Cuba. I was worried that 3l wouldn't be enough but I could achieve some good depth for half of the area of a 20 gallon (60cmx40cm) and had soil left. Three weeks in, I see plants are developing roots, and despite the occasional floater, they all stay put. When I had to replant some of the plants, there was little dust to deal with. Just be careful not to stir too much. I saw quite an ammonia spike (using a seasoned filter and lots of seasoned substrate), but I expected that. After a week, things were running smoothly.Aquascapers in the US don't have that many options for plants, specialized soils, or equipment, none of them cheap anyway, so despite its price, it does a good job.

Anchors live plants very nicely
This is really good substrate in combination with Eco-complete for planted tanks. I use it currently in a 29 gallon and a 36 gallon bow front, and my plants are flourishing! Great value for the money. Definitely recommend this.

Expensive.
Good stuff but freaking expensive. Would only use to top off your substrate.

Great pick for nano aquariums! Perfect for my 5g fluval spec v!
Works as advertised! 3 liters is suitable for a fluval spec 5 or any other small footprint aquarium. Highly recommend for carpets or nano aquariums, trust me. Its well worth the extra cash up front. Note: avoid uprooting plants frequently, dont add fish untill at least a week after planting/adding soil. When filling ad water extremely slowly. Soil, then water (yeah ive seen people make the mistake of pouring water first. Obviously it will be clowdy for hours if you try to add this to an aquarium full of water)

Beautiful plants
I've had it in my tank for a few months and my plants are so green and beautiful. I'll never use any other dirt.

Great
I used this in a Fluval V, and easily grew a full carpet of Monte Carlo.
