This book was the biggest help to my retroactive jealousy problems.
This book described me and my experiences perfectly, what I felt, how I thought, how my mind worked, everything. It was such a big help to read this book, and I look forward to what the future has in store for me. I only wish I had found this book sooner. I still have work to do, but I like that. I like that this book encourages my mind to work on getting better, if you will. As I've learned from reading this, the mind does enjoy a challenge. The exercises in this book are great for that. So in that regard I really like that this book leaves me with the keys to continue progressing toward a happier me, that I used to be. I would recommend this book to, well, probably everyone. Dealing with this problem, never had this problem, married, single, cats or dogs? The reason I say that is reading this book will benefit you in some way. Weather your like me and you needed help like this for a couple months now, or your worried the past talk might pop up unexpectedly and you want to prepare yourself. This book is going to help you. Obviously by reading the title we all know who this book targets, people like me, who have a problem and need help. But I view this book to be a healthy decision, a cleanse if you will, for anyone. I gave this book 5 stars for a number of reasons.1. I am exactly the person who needed to read this, and it sure was helpful.2. It was extremely well written, by that I mean it wasn't boring, it wasn't too short, it covered all the bases but it wasn't too long either, and it didn't run on like this sentence.3. The author implemented the right amount of humor too, witch caught my attention and made the book easier to read.4. The author wrote this with his own personal experience of retroactive jealousy in mind. That was a huge help to hear about someone else out there just like me. And not to mention inspiring that you can In fact get better from this.5. This book leaves you with the right tools to fix the issue. This book doesn't just end, it doesn't just stop. It recommends you try a couple different things after the book. Homework if you will. I personally like that, because not only did I take from the book a great message and new knowledge of myself, I also get to take from this book how to continue to better myself. How to continue to make progress in my relationship. If your hung up on your partners past, it's causing you problems, hard to take, mixed thoughts or emotions, your not quite yourself, buy this book. Do not wait. The quicker you read this book the better you AND your partner will be. Take my word for it.

Very helpful
This book got me to understand what I'm experiencing, what causes it and look internally and focus on exactly why I'm suffering with retroactive jealousy. Quite a bit confirms what I've read in a variety of places and puts it all together for you. Many examples Billing provides ring very true to me. Additionally, there are simple but effective exercises you can do that will allow you to focus on healing yourself and eliminating jealousy. Definitely worth the time and effort to read. The $ cost is minimal if it helps change your life.

If you are suffering and able to be self honest this book may help.
First things first. It is clever by half to use the phrase 12 steps in the subtitle so don't bite. To say that this self published book is very poorly edited is an understatement. I count at least twenty instances where there are obviously extraneous words, missing words etc. An example: the word Mediation appears at least a dozen times when the author most obviously meant to use the word Meditation. That said, if you are suffering from Retroactive Jealousy which most definitely and often appears as behavior similar to any Obsessive Compulsive Disorder there may be some hope for you in these pages. If as noted in other reviews this book seems overly simple, it is because the issue is not as complex as we would hope or like for it to be. It is going to require a little self honesty and recognition of what is here today - i.e. She is with me now, not anyone from her past. She chose me. In fact in my case, she told me that she had a boyfriend and though I still don't know what gave me a jolt of confidence, I said "HAD. I'm taking you now!". Where did that confidence go when I started learning more than needed about her past? Having engaged in an endless cycle of questions AFTER I took her from him...If I just knew this one more thing...THEN I would feel OK about us! Did not help me to build a relationship with this girl who is deeply in love with only me now. The core content of this book helped me to see that and to see that there are no guarantees in love or life. That's just not the way things work. In spite of my first two points it is a good book if you are torturing yourself with Retroactive Jealousy.

It definitely helped
At first it felt like a lot of get over it material. As I kept reading I could see that Jeff really related to what I am going through. Then towards the end I could really see how the exercises could help.

So much information
This book is really thorough and touches on a variety of thoughts and compulsions that sufferers of retroactive jealousy deal with on a daily basis. You truly have to want to get better in order to put the advice in this book to play. I felt instantly better after reading it just knowing that there's so much I can do to combat this. He really makes so much tells you the truth. You kind of have no choice but to think rationally after this read.

A great book for someone who wants it out
This book is great for those people who are aware of their issues with RJ and are trying to work their way out of it. The exercises proposed in the book have actually a real meaning. Though, if like me you think that your RJ condition is too severe, the book alone won’t do the job for you, but at least it’s one step closer to realise that you actually need to seek professional help.

Worth reading for RJ sufferers
Mostly to the point. Few things I couldn't relate to but fairly under the perception that I might not have noticed but I do relate subconsciously. For example, I am not sure if the factor behind my RJ is sure shot my ego, but not sure about the otherwise either. And that's the beauty of this book I guess. I was kind of hooked on to the point about "Non indulgence into the thots, rather let me come and go" and m happy that I found that point in this book too.

Incredibly helpful
Incredibly helpful. On top of retroactive jealousy, I have OCD, and it actually helped calm me in more ways than one. Its still a guide that gives you useful skills, however its from someone who has gone through similar situations, rather than a doctor or therapist writing from an academic view. He approaches it by sharing personal information about his patterns and their pasts, and that really helped a lot.I highly recommend this book if you've researched for hours online and are still unhappy. A fantastic helpful guide.

Reading the book for the first time already helped me
I like that the book is written in a very personal way, it helps to associate and see the author not as a therapist, but as a fellow sufferer.Reading it once already crushed about 90% of the problem for me. The rest is just training myself.I'd recommend everyone suffering from this to read the book! It's definitely worth the 20 Euros, even when you think that it only has like 50 pages.
