Great Kit
Amazing piece of kit and so easy to use. There are some great tutorials on YouTube on how to make the most of the gimbal.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Game Changer Once You Know How to Use It!
I decided to give the Insta360 bundle another chance after following the beginner’s guide — and wow, it was a total game changer. The setup can be a bit tricky at first, but watching a few YouTube videos is absolutely essential to understand how to get the most out of it. Once you do, everything clicks. Big kudos to Eddie from the customer experience team, who went above and beyond to guide me through each step and make sure I had a smooth and pleasant experience. That kind of support really stands out. Now that I’ve got the hang of it, I can confidently say this is the best gimbal on the market. I even ended up returning my Osmo — this one simply outperforms it. The fact that it can turn a full 360° makes it the one gimbal to run them all. If you’re on the fence, give it a fair shot and take the time to learn it — you won’t regret it.

Far better than DJI (imo)
This has functionally made my DJI OM5 obsolete. Insta360 is clearly trying to break DJI's monopoly on this type of equipment and they are succeeding greatly. The device is lightweight, incredibly well thought out and easy to use. The materials are high quality, the app is far better than DJI's applications and thanks to the AI Tracker attachment in this bundle you can fully use the tracking on android in the native camera app. This device definitely works better with an iPhone but it is not a deal breaker if you have the tracker. The tracking is incredibly good and rarely loses the subject, however if you walk behind an object or person and move off frame it will lose you and doesnt dynamically try to find you based on the direction you where moving, it just gives up.

Poor durability
Proper battery life and functionality. I really appreciated the products own qualities however quite poor material. Poor quality. I have only used it 2-3 times then the holder got separated. Amazon has been amazing in customer support. I have re-purchased it and we’ll see how it goes this time.

Great company but the gimbal has some issues
The 300g weight limit is a huge issue with an SSD and mic receiver plugged into an iPhone 16 pro max. That setup is 475g and is what I really need for ProRes recording. Also the Insta360 software has a bug which means it will not load the camera view if you have an SSD connected to the USB C port. It tell you to unplug it… however for some reason it doesn’t mine power of the DJI Mic Mini receiver being plugged in. There is a workaround to go to the camera view and then plug in the SSD, but that’s really clunky and from Reddit I know this bug has been around a while with no sign of a fix. Given these issues I can’t recommend this gimbal if you’re doing serious work in ProRes Log Also, the moving timelapses are just not smooth, it seems it cannot track very fine movements, so why does it let you try and waste an hour of recording??? EDIT: Insta360 contacted me about this review and were kind enough to offer a partial refund and a free mini tripod. This makes me feel somewhat better about the purchase, however in good conscience I can’t remove the issues I mentioned above as they are real issues. I can however recommend the company and as such I’ve added another star to the review from 2 stars to 3 stars, which I think is fair, along with an updated title.
