JUMBO SUNFLOWER SEEDS Sunflower Seeds, Ranch, 5-Ounce (Pack of 12)

Another reviewer commented that these taste like they have ramen noodle seasoning on them, and I thought "gross". But I decided to give them a try based on the positive reviews, and because I was looking for a lower sodium alternative to my current seeds. Well they do taste like they are seasoned with ramen, but strangely I love them. Large, crunchy seeds, and the seasoning is baked in, so they don't make a mess.My only concern is that the sodium content may be higher than stated. Including the shell (since I pop one or several seeds in my mouth to eat them), these claim to have only 146mg (6% DV) per 3/4 cup. Meaning the entire bag only has 15% DV of sodium, which is abnormally low for sunflower seeds. In comparison, the seeds I was eating prior to these: Wild Dutchman Flamin' Bacon flavor, have 1330 mg (58% DV) per serving, meaning the entire bag has about 150% DV for sodium. These Jumbo Ranch seeds taste quite salty however, and do burn my tongue after long sessions (although, admittedly not as bad as some other brands of seeds).I just have a hard time believing they have 1/10th the salt of most other major brands, while tasting pretty much the same. I hope I am wrong, as I eat about a bag of these a day.

These are pretty good. Like other reviews they don't really taste like ranch but are a good flavor. For the low sodium content, they are suspiciously salty tasting. What I like to do with these is mix half a bag with the unsalted ones to cut down the salt content even more and still have flavor. These are an excellent snack to keep you occupied. I'm hoping these will aid in weight loss and blood pressure control.

These are so good! Been buying these seeds for years! It's not quite ranch though...more like ramen flavor lol

My favorite seeds of all time! Taste great, good size not to small and they dont give off alot of salt, which is good cause no one likes dry lips

These seem to taste too salty to be low sodium, but they are quite good and much easier on the mouth than standard sunflower seeds. I generally have the no-salt version, which is not as satisfying as the low sodium versions but my doctor likes it better. :)

These things are not really Ranch flavored. Almost the same flavor as a ramen noodle packet. However, they are delicious. Good toast, and nice hearty size sunflower makes for easy shelling.

These seeds taste great, and they don't have a caustic effect on your tongue like a lot of seeds do. I will order these again.
