Nice Dedicated FCAW Machine - Good Value
In the review I cover what I like and didn't like about this machine and my general suggestions regarding use and type of use. My review is based on over 35 years of welding experience.Overall: 5-Stars - At this time will update if there are any future issues with durability etc....• LIKED machine based on the per dollar value, which includes the real and perception of quality.• LIKED polarity already set correctly for Dual Shield FCAW process• LIKED Size the size is great very small foot print and easy to store (Included a photo next to a 4.5 angle grinder to help put the small size in perspective)• LIKED Torch/Handle and tips are standard for sub-200amp - 6mm x 1 tips• LIKED Setting and menu are easy and quick to navigate.• DON'T LIKE The spool retaining ring is very fiddly and seems like a weak link.• DON'T LIKE The lack of control for wire speed - I'm use to having control over all three parameters. Which is what I'm use too so I'm not dinging/faulting the machine its just what I'm use too.As stated above at this stage of use/testing its a medium 5-star.NOTE This machine It strictly a FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding) wire feed and MMA (Manual Metal Arc) stick process machine. No provisions for MIG (Metal Inert Gas)..... gas connection. It's a wire feed machine and a lot of times the word MIG is thrown around when describing all wire feed machine buts the processes and equipment are different.Opinion on who's this machine for - what can you do with the machine.• Someone interested in learning a new skill• Someone That wants a small unit that quick and simple• Someone That may have small task on a farm, home, etc... where a welder would be helpful• Someone That may might already have large separate TIG & MIG machines but wants something quick and simple when just needing to stick a few pieces of metal together or having the ability weld a part without removing that part and bringing it back to the shop...... i.e. fixing my fence supports I can now weld them in place opposed to removing them and brining them back in the shop. (So me it works for me) :-)• Every process has its advantages and disadvantages - FCAW (Flux Core) is basically wire-feed MMA (stick) So you get the advantage of being to weld in conditions you would not be able to TIG and or MIG in.• The machine will run to 90amps when powered with 120vac and 130 when powered with 220vac. I had no problem welding 16ga rectangle tubing at 70amps indicated outside attached to a 50foot extension cord.Understand there are many different welding processes and there's not one that is king of all the processes - you choose the process thats best suited for the application based on working environmental conditions, time constraints and design perimeters.

Great Little Welder
We sometimes do car work and are in need of a small welder. I love that this is small so it's easy to store since it won't be used too often. Welder seems easy to use and a good quality for the price. Also seems very well made. If you need something for quick little jobs this would be a good choice.

Fantastic hobbyist welder.
It's not a complicated or "full-featured" welder, it's actually pretty basic, the controls are simple and aren't super flexible, but if you're just looking for a "load it, ground it, and go" welder, this is it. It comes with a cheap little welding brush and hammer which, honestly, you're going to want to upgrade as soon as possible, but it's nice if you need it in a pinch. You can run it on 110v or 220v, but being a lower power welder, it runs perfectly fine on 110v.I'm just a hobbyist welder, but for me this does pretty much everything I need it to do. Very recommended if all you're looking for is a simple, easy to use welder.

Can't be better for the price point!
If you very have occasional light welding to do, this product is perfect. You don't need to have a 220 volt outlet as it runs on a regular 110 outlet. It is very lightweight and easy to move around and store.Excellent product for the price point.
