The plastic is a bit thinner (cheaper) than I thought it might be from the picture, thus a bit more flimsy than I'd hoped. Plus, there was a slight crack in the side when I unwrapped it. Not sure how that happened in shipping-as it was wrapped up in bubble wrap and such pretty well. You can barely see the crack if you look hard enough on the outside-so I didn't bother with return. At the price, I never expected it to be the sort to last for a long time, so we glued and gorilla taped from the inside and you can't tell. Overall, and again, for the money-not a bad value at all. I'll use this one while it lasts and buy another. It was like $50 so I wasn't expecting greatness out of it like a $500 trunk. It's fine for storage and looks good on the bike. Might pat a little more for the next one in hopes it will be a bit more sturdy!!

This trunk is large enough for me. I can lock up my full face helmet, as well as some extra gear in it. The price was good for me and I made my purchase knowing I’d do some of my own modifications to it. Due to the model of my motorcycle, I knew the mounting hardware would not fit, so I built my own bracket and mounts to attach it. Suits me fine.

This is the second time I've purchased this exact trunk. Love the first one. Lock broke. Wire that stopped the trunk from opening all the way broke. I've repaired all the quirks. This trunk holds two helmets, an assortment of gloves, glasses and bike tools all at the same time.

I customized it to fit my needs easily and it works great .just wish it was made with a little harder plastic material
