Stylish, reliable, and perfect for modern kitchens
I purchased the Russell Hobbs 24361 Inspire Kettle and Toaster Set in white to upgrade our dated kitchen appliances, and I’ve been thoroughly impressed from the moment I took them out of the box. If you’re looking for a matching set that combines classic performance with modern aesthetics, this duo is hard to beat.Design & First ImpressionsLet’s start with the looks — this set is simply beautiful. The ripple texture design and glossy finish give both the kettle and toaster a modern, premium feel without being flashy. The chrome accents add just the right amount of shine, making them stand out on any kitchen worktop. I opted for white, but the full Inspire range includes other colours like black and red, which are equally sleek.Kettle PerformanceThe kettle is fast and efficient. It boils quietly and quickly, typically in just over a minute for two mugs' worth of water, thanks to the rapid boil function. There's a handy water level indicator on the side, and you can easily boil a single cup to save energy when needed — a small but eco-friendly detail I really appreciate. It holds 1.7 litres, which is more than enough for a family-sized round of tea or to fill a pan when cooking. The 360-degree base is great for both left and right-handed users, and the cordless design means it lifts cleanly and pours smoothly. The spout design is excellent — no drips, no splashes. It also features a removable limescale filter, which is easy to take out and rinse. For those of us in hard water areas, this is a real bonus.Toaster PerformanceThe matching toaster is just as impressive. It has two wide slots, which comfortably fit thick slices of bread, bagels, or crumpets without any cramming or burning. The browning control is reliable and consistent — after a couple of test runs, I found my ideal setting, and it’s been spot-on ever since. There’s also a lift-and-look feature, so you can check on your toast without interrupting the cycle — perfect for those of us who hate burned toast! It also includes defrost and reheat functions, plus a cancel button, which are all responsive and clearly labelled.Crumb tray access is easy from the back, and the tray slides out for quick cleaning. No more having to tip the whole thing upside down and shake it awkwardly.Everyday UseBoth appliances are lightweight but feel sturdy, with rubber feet that keep them stable during use. The controls are intuitive and well laid out, and they’re easy to wipe clean — a must in a busy kitchen. They also perform well under daily use. After several weeks of multiple uses a day, both the kettle and toaster are working flawlessly and still look as good as new.Final ThoughtsIf I had to nitpick, the exterior can get a bit fingerprinty (especially the chrome trim), but a quick wipe sorts that easily.Overall, the Russell Hobbs Inspire Kettle and Toaster Set is stylish, functional, and reliable. It’s ideal for anyone wanting to upgrade their kitchen without splashing out on luxury brands. Performance-wise, it's hard to fault, and it looks fantastic to boot.Highly recommended for style-conscious homes that want practical, everyday reliability.

Great kettle
So far so good. Quite thick plastic which looks expensive. Generally this kettle looks good and no complains regarding the speed of boiling. My only issue is that the transparent water ruler thing is milky and you can barely see the actual water level without opening the top. It would also be more handy to have a button for opening the lid rather than having to lift the lid but still I think it's a great kettle.

Looks nice, practical and this is my 3rd one!
This is a replacement for the same kettle we have previously that stopped working when the on/off switch packed up after some years. Like the honeycomb design, easy to fill and has a good capacity. Switch to show it is on is blue so easy to see when it's working, it is fairly quiet when boiling. Lid fits snugly and is easy to lift off and push back in
