Very nice doorbell where you don't have doorbell wiring. Extremely easy to install; pretty easy to remove and charge the battery. Installed a memory chip for picture/video storage -- took about 5 seconds to install the memory. Camera images are not super high resolution but are pretty good (see image I just took from the doorbell). We are away from this home about 6 months at a time each year and just charge the battery right before we leave. We don't use the motion detection but we get an immediate phone call when someone rings the bell. The battery drains very slowly in this mode and based on testing thus far, it should easily be good for 6 months. We tried using the motion detection when we are there but too much feedback. There are options on this doorbell that would work better to detect people, but we don't really need it. Good enough to ring the bell in the house and ring our cell phones - we just turn on the camera on the phone, and can see who it is and talk to them. This works great when we are away and when we are in. When in, we are frequently down at our dock -- and can answer the doorbell from there. If you want motion detection engaged and want to record video while motion detection is active, you can do that but the battery won't last a long time. They do have a slightly more expensive model with all the features of this unit with a higher res camera that connects to doorbell wiring if you want to record that. I absolutely hate all of the subscription BS every vendor on earth is trying to get you to buy. We can avoid it with this doorbell which more than meets our needs. I would definitely buy this again!

Great product very easy to set up and excellent view from camera

We have been using this doorbell cam for a few months now and I have been very pleased with how well it has worked. The setup time was very quick and installation outside was straight forward. The app shows you step by step making it a breeze. Overall quality of the camer is great, and even at night we can clearly see our front yard. The only problems I have noticed which does not happen off but sometime the video will start in the middle of an action rather than detecting the person walking up from further away. I was also disappointed to find out that there is no local storage on the unit itself has no built in storage, luckily I had an SD card on hand I could use so not a huge problem, but if you do not want to pay for online storage you will need a compatible SD card. We were concerned the battery would not last long, and really if you don't have every single detect option turned on this should last quite a long time. I have not had to charge it since purchasing. I've found the motion detect to be quite finicky as it would pick up cars passing which caused it to drain faster so I have just let it on the detect person option and has been great since. Similar features to other units and a much better price point. Very happy with this purchase
