Overall good dash camera -- works pretty well in my 2021 Ford Ranger (Crew Cab) This review also covers two of the three optional upgrade hardware kits for it.Decided to buy it after somebody broke into my truck without a trace. Joke's on them though. College students like me don't have anything worth stealing (but I digress)Some things to note (I wish the description was a bit more upfront about this:)- Default parking mode (no fuse box hardware kit) seems to only trigger on impact/g shock (have not tested this). No passive videos/pictures recorded otherwise.- There are TWO sensor kits. One has a forward-only field of view, and the other is 360 degrees. I bought the 360 degree upgrade kit and it is indeed 360 degrees. With the sensor mounted on the front windshield, it was able to detect me behind the tailgate of my 2021 Ford Ranger Crew Cab pickup truck after 5 or so seconds of walking side-to-side behind it. It can detect me much faster through the front of the windshield and the passenger/driver side doors, which is what I wanted.- The kit that only plugs into the battery does not enable any passive recording/photo function. It just ensures that you don't have to use a cigarette lighter to power it. Mostly useless - either buy the 360 degree sensor or don't bother. Be advised that the wires for the battery monitor module are approximately 3 inches too short to comfortably mount into the fuse box.Two complaints:- Does take 10+ seconds to boot up after turning on the vehicle or having motion detected by the hardware kit. If thieves are fast enough, they may be able to escape before the camera has finished booting/started recording.- Seems to be a bug in the menu for setting the kind of parking mode. Pressing okay to accept the 'hardware kit without radar' setting triggers an endless loop of jumping between parking mode type and low/medium/high... whatever that means.

A Dash Cam That Delivers Peace of Mind for My MomI recently picked up this dash cam for my mom, who's quite the traveler, and I have to say, we're both absolutely thrilled with it. She's pretty comfortable with tech, so getting it up and running was no issue for her, and it's quickly become a tool she truly appreciates.From my end, the installation took about an hour. It was my second time putting one in, so I really focused on tucking away the wires to make it look like a factory install. This model was quite similar to my previous experience, but it boasts some impressive AI-powered monitoring features designed to spot potential risks on the road, which is a fantastic upgrade. The four cameras capture excellent video quality, with the front lens delivering especially crisp images. I really like how the recordings from each camera are neatly organized into separate files. The 360-degree coverage is a huge plus – it definitely stands out compared to many other devices out there. And the night vision performance is truly remarkable, providing sharp, clear footage even in low light, which means reliable 24-hour monitoring.Honestly, I don't have a single negative thing to say about this dash cam. My mom absolutely loves it, and for me, it brings immense peace of mind knowing she has such a capable device watching over her travels.

The media could not be loaded. This style dash cam has 5-channel cameras that can all be viewed & recorded simultaneously. It has 4K front facing ultra clear camera with wide coverage that is adjustable & on the reverse side is a screen, buttons & two left + right, passenger & driver side cameras that can also be adjusted to either face inside the vehicle or pointed towards the windows to record the sides of the vehicle. There is an optional reverse back up camera that will need to be wired & installed to the rear of vehicle & also an additional 5th channel interior camera is provided for the cabin that has AI driver monitoring system (DMS). Aside from the 5-channel cameras, this product has some awesome built in features such as loop-recording, built-in GPS with a downloadable app & fast 5G WiFi speed, enhanced night vision, 24/7 parking monitor mode & audio, easy app control, G-sensor protection, distracted driving notifications & a very handy, hands-free smart voice control feature which I find incredibly useful as there are voice prompts you can use to control the camera’s settings & playback. The camera is also a good discrete size that can be mounted anywhere on a cars windshield by the sticky adhesive which it comes with 2 & also a 128GB micro SD card is also included as a gift for video file storage. Overall, this dash cam is awesome, I really like it’s design, it works great with lots of safety features. It’s easy to use but best to read the instructions manual so you can fully understand all its capabilities & features to make using this device easiest. The price listed is a bit high but I would say it is very much worth the retail price, it has a lot of features & the 360° 5-channel full vehicle coverage is very good for all around vehicle video protection in case of accidents.
