What is the psi rating of this pump. i need to connect it to fee water to an ionizing water treatment device. not sure of the imput diamter yet.

This type of pump is not rated in psi, but in gpm (gallons per minute) The only pumps* that I know of that are rated in psi are in a pump system that is specifically designed to increase water pressure.

Can this pump be installed and successfully work in an "in line" set up?

Thanks for your question. Yes this pump can be used in an inline setup, but it is not self priming and is water cooled. This means that the pump has to be below the water level with water being gravity fed to the pump. This ensures the pump is never pulling air and the line is constantly full of water.
