A Curiously Fascinating deck that Neither Alice nor a Beginning Tarot Reader will comprehend.
Having read tarot for some years now and experienced many decks identifying themselves as part of the Rider Waite Smith system, I have to say that while the purchase price of this deck is very appealing, and the color palette and graphics are wondrous, it neither has any connection to Alice in Wonderland, if it gave you that impression by its title, nor does it seem related to the RWS system.NOT FOR A BEGINNER, in my opinion. There is no guidebook and the imagery in the cards does not connect intuitively with the archetypes of RWS. Well most of them, anyway, Some do. But I don't think there's a consistent enough connection throughout the deck to make it workable for tarot readers and specifically tarot beginners. I can't tell if this deck is AI, but the disconnect with a familiar tarot system certainly feels that way. Even if the creators have no idea what taroti is about, I rely on publishers to do their diligence in making sure what they market is accurate and not just a deck of pretty art cards.I find I have to translate the images from each card by their labels, in my head, to the familiar images of RWS in order to use it. That aside, it is a very pretty and colorful deck, whimsical and curious reminiscent of Ukrainian folk art, Russian nesting dolls or children's fairy tales. The card stock is workable and I enjoy a sturdy two part storage box. The box's cover image doesn't appeart anywhere in the deck. For me, Wonderland Tarot (another deck shares its name) sent me down a rabbit hole to a different wonderland than that of Alice, and left me as puzzled in figuring it out as she was in her curious world.

Beautiful cards!
These cards are really pretty! I’ve bought tarot cards before, but didn’t really like the style and ended up returning them. These are very cute and they are a good travel size.

gentle PSA for beginners
It is a lovely, dreamy deck. I think if the art style resonates with you, it will be easier to get an intuitive reading but they could be a little abstract for a beginner. The description is clear that there is no guidebook but there are plenty of online sources should you need them. They are a little longer than regular playing cards so if you have smaller hands, shuffling may be a bit difficult but not unmanageable. The cards themselves are sturdy and the art is beautiful. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase but did take one star for the slightly awkward size and I don’t think it is as beginner friendly as the description implies. I still would recommend it to add to your collection but maybe get comfy with a Rider Waite deck first before delving into this one.

Best intuitive deck yet—solid yea for me.
I saw these cards in a reading online and was immediately drawn in like a fly to light by the colorful imagery. I like being able to take a story from the creator identifying each card this one is all intuitive connection—no book. This doesn’t take away from the deck tho. Each card so rich in detailed illustrations and colorful shapes that the answers reveal themselves with ease. They are a good size and cardstock to smoothly handle a hard shuffle. This has immediately become one of my first intuitive deck and easily one of my favs.

Beautiful deck
The deck had beautiful pictures to represent the tarot and the people that work for the company are kind and willing to make right any problem you may have. I 100% recommend this deck and any deck this particular company sells.

Buyer beware. Seems like AI deck put together with no real thought behind it
Don't believe the 5 star reviews or the description. This is not a RWS deck and cannot be easily read by a beginner without the non-existent guidebook. The images are beautiful and I love the color palette which is why I'm giving this deck 3 stars. The images in the Major Arcana do seem closely related to the RWS. It's when you get into the minor arcana that things get weird. There are plenty of images that don't correspond to the RWS interpretations. If I did want to just use this deck as a stand alone, I would still have problems with this deck because the images that have no RWS correspondence don't speak to me.I will be keeping this deck because I enjoy the colors and artwork. Currently, I have no plans to attempt to read with this deck. To me it feels like someone with little or no knowledge of the Tarot made a cheap deck with the help of AI.

Good quality
The Wonderland Tarot Deck has a nice, sturdy feel to it—the cards are thicker than cheap decks, with a smooth matte finish that shuffles easily without sticking. The edges are crisp and clean. The artwork is vibrant, printed on quality cardstock that holds up to frequent use. The box is decent too, with a snug lid to keep everything protected. For beginners, it’s a solid choice.
