Outstanding mics for the price just make sure you take your time setting everything up. For one, make sure you check the mics and remove the blue plastic on top of the metal charging squares. Do this by rubbing it softly with your fingernail. Afterwards, place the mics back in the charging box and see if the red or green light is on. The light will let you know the connections are solid. Charge the mics inside box by using the white cable and power source. Light outside box will turn green but make sure everything inside is fully charged. Second, do not update the firmware right away. Both mics and possibly both receivers need to be on and connected . I have not updated mine yet because everything works fine without the update. I saw a message saying updating the firmware without the devices being synced or connected may cause miscommunication between devices. So heads up…. Third, close all of the unnecessary apps, links, etc. Hollyland and camera app is all you need. After opening the box, scan small square with your camera to download correct app. The comments in Apple App Store are terrible mostly because most didn’t read my review. lol. Mainly complaining about connectivity probably because they downloaded firmware update way too early! Practice using the mono and stereo modes…..noise cancellation modes also. The app makes everything easy. You can see remaining battery life, volume control, and other options. The size of this is perfect in my opinion. Versatility….working progress. You can mute sound, start and stop video by clicking so many times. Truthfully, it’s hit or miss sometimes but for the price and sound clarity….,hard to beat. I’m using a IPhone 13 and have not had any issues so far…..one week in with my fingers crossed!

If you are a content creator looking to upgrade the quality of your videos, I highly recommend this mini mic. The carrying case is super cut and convenient and the quality of sound is incredible. It has a noise cancellation feature and it is very easy to connect to your devices. I especially love the connectors, as I am able to us this mic with multiple devices! This mic is perfect for anyone looking for quality sound at a reasonable price. AND you get to choose fun colors :)

This has proven to be an excellent purchase. I love when it comes with a case for charging, I love it everything except the mic covers fit in the case and the magnetic attachments are so easy to use! Each of us needs a mic for different reasons and so I’m glad that we ordered the set that has two different types of connectors. So far, we are very happy with them and the quality is excellent. I actually hate the sound of my voice because I have something pressing on my vocal cords that has distorted it but these make me sound like a whole new person! My grandson just had a birthday and I bought a set for him.

There are a lot of models trying to do what these cordless mics actually DO. In my opinion, the Hollyland is the best designed and the best built. I first saw them demonstrated at the broadcasters convention in Las Vegas in 2025. I liked them right away, but could not buy at the time. Seeing them offered on Amazon was a stroke of luck! These are not toys. Professionals use them and rely upon them. I am one of them. I have already used them in a TV production at a July 4th parade broadcast and the sound is superb! Crisp and clear! The magnets are super strong and hold the mic in place even on moving subjects. The software allows both mics to be used as a stereo pair OR as two mono mics when two people are speaking. I love the windscreens, the charging dock within the carrying case and the fact that the software allows you to quickly export the files to a laptop for use in a live production via a simple USB cable, unlike a previous software I bought which was an app that required me to send the video clip to a cloud and then retrieve. Hollyland does it with a simple cable. I could go on....but I'll stop here. LOVE IT!!

These are great mics. They do however have latency issues at times. I wouldn’t recommend it for anything live as there will be noticeable latency (delay). Great for voice over and podcasting though. The sound quality is really good and they have a natural compressor which helps in post production. It’s plug and play and very portable.

The Hollyland Lark A1 is incredibly easy to set up and use. Just plug in the receiver, turn on the transmitters, and you're ready to go. The sound quality is excellent, producing clear, natural audio that's a huge improvement over a phone's built-in microphone. I also really like the charging case. It's compact, keeps everything organized, and makes storing and charging the microphones incredibly convenient. My only real complaint is the advertised range. Hollyland claims up to 200 meters, but I've experienced connection drops from less than 5 meters away on more than one occasion. While it hasn't been constant, it makes me question how reliable the system would be at longer distances. Overall, this is a well-designed microphone kit with great sound quality and an excellent charging case. If you're recording close to your phone or camera, it's a great option, but I wouldn't count on the advertised wireless range.

Pros It worked well with the recording app. Cons It looked like kind of returned item, opened and already assembled. It didn’t meet my expectations. I intended to use it with video calls (eg. Whatsapp) and translation apps, but they are not compatible. I use an iPhone 13.

Absolutely outstanding microphones. Never ever be put off by the size of these - they’re mighty. With the hollyland app, you have preset eq to adjust the sound. A very easy app to use compared with other well-known mic brands. I’ve really delved into the research on these. You really do get more value for money at this price point than any other usb mic on the market. The audio quality really is outstanding. I’m totally raving about these mics to my fellow content creators (and I’m not even sponsored)! These mics last around 9 hours per full charge and are fully recharged again in around 20 minutes. The magnets are STRONG! No worry about them slipping off. The transmitter is well-made. They have a real premium quality feel about them. Honestly - save yourself a load of money and go for these. I’ve done the research and tests. They’re the best quality. Way better than the more expensive M2 model (they have less features and you’re only paying for the aesthetics). With a small charging case, they’re very portable. It comes with a pouch carry case for the included mic muffs and charger cable. These blue ones come with a lightning or USB-C connector. Very easy to use. Literally plug in and use. With three adjustable noise-cancellation settings, they’re perfect for use outside or noisy environments. One click on the mic’s button and it’s activated. Easy to adjust. Plus, if you’re using these and your phone is running out of battery, you can pop your charger cables into the receiver, then simultaneously charge and record! Very happy with these. They’re my go-to. So thrilled I bought these.
