Barilla Protein+ Elbows Pasta, 14.5 Oz

Great pasta! Texture is that of regular macaroni but cook time is 5/7 min. The protein content is great for people who struggle to get enough protein in them. The price is about what you pay in the store though it pays to look for sales since I got some at a local grocery store for $1.99

I'm a vegetarian and getting enough protein can be a challenge. However, this pasta is great. I've used it a lot with making no boil baking recipes. Sometimes with a tomato sauce and sometimes with alfredo. Super easy to make and they're so delicious. If the no boil bake recipe calls for a 20 minute cook time I put them in the oven for 15. So, yes, the cook time is faster than regular elbow noodles.

A household staple in my home! We only buy and eat this pasta brand. We love the taste. And texture is not weird. We love the amount that it comes with feeds our family of 4 plus extra leftovers! Definitely a good deal especially with the added protein. Perfect for a family. It is also very filling compared to some pasta also the pasta holds up well. It is a good size box too !
