I waited awhile to review as it looks nice out of the box but when I just got it I didn't know if it would work. It is very nice out of the box, seems well made, easy to use. In some reviews people indicated they're 20 minute timer didn't work, I am wondering if the problem is that in order to get it to work you first have to use the 10 minute button, turn on the lights, set the intensity (you tap the 10 minute button to go from low to medium to high) and then you have to tap the 20 or 30 minute button if you want to go a longer time. At the end of the time there is a soft beep to alert you and the lights go off. I have been using it about 7 weeks now and I am seeing an improvement in my skin. I have to admit it was discouraging that it took so long to start to show improvement, of course, I wanted it to work the first day. I just had lunch with a friend who asked what product I was using on my skin because it looked great. I also do use products as I am older and time has it toll on skin, but I have used those for awhile so I think it is the addition of the red light therapy that has helped. This has been a nice addition to my skincare. Be sure to get goggles. The ones that come with it are more like sunglasses and I prefer goggles that are tighter on my eyes. With the sunglasses I worry about the red light coming around the glass. Put on music, an audio book or my preference, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me and just relax and enjoy.

We've gone through a few different red light products, but they all seem to be made for a single use case. For instance, we had one that was made for use on the neck. We had another that's for use on the shoulders and upper back. The issue with these is that the design is so specific that you can't really use them easily on other parts of the body. The LuxRenew is a much better experience altogether. You can place it on the stand and lay on your back to use it on your face, legs, arms, etc. You can place it on the stand on a countertop and sit or stand in front of it. You can use the included band to strap it on and use it on your stomach, chest, or back. The versatility is what I appreciate the most, but I also like that the lights are high quality and cover a pretty broad spectrum of light. The multiple strength and time settings are also nice, and I like that it came with sunglasses. We haven't used them, but they're plenty large enough to keep your eyes from absorbing red light, if that's something you want to avoid. Overall, this is the best red light therapy device we've purchased, and I highly recommend it. It's not the cheapest, but it's a quality device that's worth every penny and more.

I have a used red light therapy before so know the benefits very well. However those units were small and only covered small areas and wanted one that covered more area. This one is perfect as I can use the belt so I can move while it’s on and can also use the stand and not have to hold the unit. It also covers a much larger area for me. I get the same results on scars and healing as I did with my small unit. Best thing ever is the packaging as it is so sturdy I use it for storing the unit. The fold down flap on the box allows me to just pick up the unit when using.

I have only had this light for a few days. I've used it on my neck, chest and stomach. It's too soon to see the long term benefit, but I already see some imporvement on my chest. I had a bump on my chest that would not go away. After one use, the bump was flattened some and looked to be beginning to heal. This morning I woke up with a terrible pulled muscle in my lower back. I remembered the light therapy and used it for 20 minutes--as I had to go to work and needed relief. My back pain is still there but has been greatly reduced! On another note I see others have posted that their unit did not work on the 20 and 30 minute setting. Mine doesn't either BUT I found if I repeated pust the "10 minute" setting there is a diffence in light intensity. My guess is the lowest light is probably the 30 minute setting. I have not tested this theory yet! I am NOT Sorry that I made this purchase. I look forward to seeing the continued improvement in my skin.

I bought a red light lamp that adjusts before this and it was so inconvenient and unstable and wouldn’t stay in place and had a cord to have to plug in.. it was getting frustrating. I’m so glad I find this shortly after returning the other one. It is so easy to use so convenient and comfortable and can even use for your face laying down and it’s sturdy enough to do so. I use it for my pain/disconfort and inflammation of my polycystic kidneys which are now double the normal size so when I eat is when this discomfort is more prominent. After I eat and take a short walk I put this on and feel relieved after the 30 minutes is up. I was skeptical about the price but it was worth it! Update 2/3/25 : lights are flashing and not fully working some of them went out… To spend over 100$ on something that broke after 6 months is kind of upsetting.
