Superb
If you really want a book that gives you some great dimensions to an awesome curry, then this is a must have book. There are plenty of indian cookery books on the market, but a very few that have the contents & details this book has to offer.A must have for anybody looking to master the indian cuisine !Arkuma

Not for the faint hearted
I wanted an authentic indian cook book not one where the chef has 'put his own twist' on it. The quality of both the pictures, the print and the paper are poor. Trying to make sense of the recipes with all the Indian words for stirring, cooking pots, and utensils is not for the uninitiated and makes it harder to understand. It is not enjoyable to read which I like to do and often take my cookery books to bed to read as I have time, peace and quiet. Some of the pages were stuck together although it came sealed.

Extremely Authentic recipes.
Excellent book. Extremely authentic recipes. I have a large number of cookery books, some by the celebrity chefs, with all the glossy photos etc. but this is a far more down to earth recipe book. I love cooking Indian food and visit India regularly and this is one of the best books I have. Highly recommend.

Excellent book, for more experienced cooks
I bought this book in India whilst travelling and it is by far and away the best and authentic recipe book I've seen. Each chapter is based around regional specialities written by an expert chef in that area. This book is written for Indians or those with an idea of what a karahi , etc is. Some recipes have hard to find ingredients in the UK such as banana flowers, but overall most are doable. This book isn't for cooking average quick Indian food as most recipes take 1+ hours, however it will be worth it!

Disappointed with the Paper quality of the book
The quality of the book is really poor. Majority of the pages are stuck together. And few of them are ripped diagonally I wasn't expecting such a poor standard for the price I paid .
