3 Remington O-Ring Barrel Seals for Model 1100 12 Gauge 11-87 12 GA

I purchased an older Remington 1100 from the late 70s to go trap/skeet shooting with some friends. Once I got the gun home, I discovered old O-ring had snapped in half. I quickly ordered a new set of O-rings from Mallard Armory, and what can I say, I'm impressed. The new rings seem to be quality products and functioned flawlessly in my shotgun. I've put a little over 100 rounds through the first ring and plan on putting several hundred more in a few days. If I have any problems, I'll be sure to update this review.My only advice to anyone buying these: be sure to coat the O-ring in some light oil before putting on the gun. This will help with instalation onto the magazine tube.

I dusted off an old Remington 1100 shotgun that hadn't been used in over 30 years. I knew the O-Ring barrel seal should be replaced on these shotguns every 3 years or so but I couldn't find one at a local gun store before my shooting day. I also wasn't buying the local hardware stores " this should fit" story. So I thought that maybe a little oil would make things right and took off to shoot some clays with a 30 year old o-ring. In 75 rounds I experienced 3 failures to feed. I jumped on Amazon and ordered new O-rings from Mallard Armory and replaced the old one with one from the 3-pack. This is what these Mallard guys do so quality should be there, right? Well, I went back to the range and shot 100 shells. Same ammo, same shooter, new seal. Fantastic. After the first few shots, I never even thought about anything but the clays. No FTEs. No FTFs. Obviously, I am thrilled that I chose Mallard to replace a small but important part of that old shotgun.

If you own a Remington 1100 or 1187, then you need to have some of these o-rings in your bag with your shotgun. These o-rings are the difference between a cartridge being fully ejected and a new reloaded or a cartridge un-ejected jammed in the shot gun and the second bird long gone before fixing the issue. Over time these o-rings can get cracked, pitted or worn down causing the gas to leak past and not allowing the recoil do reload the next shell. These o-rings are a perfect and fix this problem for me every time. This is provided you also do a good job maintaining your shot gun and keeping it clean.I did not receive any discounts, products or any other type of compensation for my review of these o-rings. Fixed it good seals

Super fast delivery and looks like a quality seal. Fit the 11-87 12GA perfectly. I will edit should I encounter any problems with the reliability.

The Product - I recently picked up a new Remington Auto-Loader. I wanted to have an extra set of these seals to keep with the shotgun while hunting. The likely-hood of the barrel seal failing is relatively low, but when it fails, it fails catastrophically, preventing the shotgun from cycling. So these are more or less just for peace of mind. (Hopefully).Seller- The item I received was the exact item I ordered. The order was filled in a timely manner. One thing I appreciated, since this is a smaller item, the seller actually shipped them to me in a regular envelope with an invoice inside, sent regular mail. I ordered this item around Christmas time and would not have received them in a timely manner had the seller not done this, Thank You!Lastly, for some reason there are other sellers offering the same product for a ridiculous price. O rings work great on my old 12 ga Remington 1100

These O-rings were just what I needed my 11-87 would not eject shells and cycle in a new one. I tried this as a last try before taking it to a gun smith. These did the trick and my 11-87 is now ejecting and cycling perfectly.
