I'm reading that these are not really chewable. I would like to hear from the company.

I have a 17 pound Llaso mix with gall bladder issues. My vet recommended 1/2 tablet of denamarin advanced once a day on an empty stomach and ursodiol with food. Initially, he took both tablets like a treat, then he started to spit out the denamarin. Then i tried it with peanut butter and he took it, but then later he would vomit up the dissolved denamarin. So now I found that just opening his mouth and sticking the denamarin at the back of his throat and holding his muzzle until he swallows it. I immediately follow up with 6-7 small pieces of dry dog food. I've had no problems since I began this technique.
