What’s the life expectancy for the bulbs?

I have had 2 fail. One at 3 months and one at 15 months. They both failed by going extremely dim. Buyer beware you may have to pay for return shipping. The first one that failed after 3 months and they gave me a one time exception and shipped me a new bulb without returning old one. The second bulb I would need to return at my cost and they would ship me a replacement. The cost of returning the bulb almost exceeded the cost of buying a new one. There hassle free warranty is certainly not hassle free.

Has anyone used this warranty? Any problems?
