I’ve been using this Brita UltraMax for a while now, and it’s been a game-changer for my kitchen. The 27-cup capacity means I don’t have to refill it constantly, even with multiple people using it. We had been using refrigerator filters but something apparently was in the line and supposedly filtered water was tasting very bad so now we have this in our fridge (doesn't take too much space) and our water is great. I have had smaller Brita pitchers and filters--always great!

This is perfect for my fiance and I. We prefer our water colder than the tap generally gets it. We have both had smaller pitchers in the past before moving in together but wanted something that would hold a generous amount of water. This is perfect and does not take up too much space in our fridge. We also have it set so it is super easy to fill our large capacity water bottles in the morning.

I’ve had this not even a month & it cracked & a piece broke off it when I picked it up to fill it again. Love the product itself & the water is definitely filtered out. Just disappointed in the quality for the price. We’ve had the small Brita for years & love it.

I purchased this last month and my son and I have been using it non-stop ever since. We find the taste of the water noticeably better, fresh and clean. It's very easy to use. No drips, and I'm a clumsy one. It's easy to refill. All you have to do is lift the part of the top near the front and add 2 quarts of water. I add a "koolaid pitcher's" worth of water any time it gets low because we both use so much. My son fills up a huge bottle before work every day and I drink a lot of water, as well, so keeping it full is paramount, as we can't stand the taste of tap water any more. We leave it on the counter as we are both prone to ice-cream headaches and like to guzzle our water, sometimes like we've just crossed the Sahara. I was buying cases and cases of bottled water and decided to finally take the plunge into the Brita world and I'm so glad I did. It fits nicely right beside the fridge, taking up minimal space, and keeps us well hydrated. I love the filter-checker button and press it every now and then to make sure it still shows green. I'm sure soon we will be purchasing refill filters. But even then, we are saving so much money, not buying cases and cases of bottled water. It has lasted one whole month, with extra-regular use, and is holding up nicely. There is no strange odor coming from it or was when I first opened it up. I just rinsed it out and filled it up. It's been full ever since. I even use this water for cooking. It's a good feeling knowing I can get a clean, filtered, good-tasting glass of water any time I want.

Works very well. No more plastic water bottles. Quality is very good. Very durable. The design a little tall for a small fridge but I lowered a shelf and fits perfectly

I want to love it but it's making it very hard. The mechanism for using it is seemingly easy, been using it for around a month, and it worked just fine up until a few days ago. When filling up the tank, its understood the filter should always be in its slot, the water passes through, and thus becomes filtered, but somewhere along the way the filter actually obstructs the water passing through, be it because of the internal structure or material of the filter, or perhaps its the pressure of the water vs the air passing through (the latter being something the filter never gave issues with at first). Another slight negative is the weight of the tank once full. This is really a non-issue but if you have flimsier fridge racks, be careful with this product. Mine haven't yet, but im sure eventually the racks will bust due to the weight of the tank once full, especially during the taking in and out the fridge. Overall, I like this product, but its giving me a hard time when refilling due to the whole filter issue. Im not sure if I should buy another and try again or trash the entire thing and find an alternative.
