I’ve tried a few gray coverage shampoos before, but this one actually delivers. The foam makes it super easy to apply evenly, and I noticed a difference after just a couple uses. It doesn’t look fake or overly dark, just a clean, natural black tone that blends in well. Bonus: it also makes my hair feel thicker and healthier. I use it about 3 times a week and it only takes a few minutes. Definitely worth it if you want to cover grays without dealing with dyes or long routines.

Marketed as “no dye, sulfate-free, gentle,” but the ingredients list shows oxidative hair dye chemicals (PPD, aminophenols) and sulfates; they are well-known irritants and allergens. It caused irritation on my sensitive scalp. At the time of purchase, detailed ingredients were not listed in the product description, and I feel misled.

It is too early to make a definitive assessment. Immediately, I'd have to say it is more liquidy (runny) than Just For Men CONTROL GX stuff.

This product actually works! I wanted something simple that would give me the look of a little gray. This product is it. Just shampoo your hair as directed and rinse. So simple! No I use the product twice a week to keep just a touch of gray without my hair looking jet black or obvious. It really does work!

The color is faster and better looking than the well known competitor. My wife says it looks great without the reddish look other products leave.

The first thing you notice is that this stuff is goopy. It is like pouring out an oil spill into your hand, and you will need to clean up your shower if any of it gets on the tiles.The instructions say to leave it in your hair for 3 minutes, which we did. But if you are a quick showerer, you will be standing around for some time. "With your intrusive thoughts," as they say.After a few tries, our hair had a sort of darker brown on the gray, which did not match well with the native black. We did not like how it looked and got a haircut right away. One of the promises on the bottle is that it also thickens the hair, but that was not our experience.It has a sort of chemically scent, but that is to be expected of hair coloring. Compared to other hair dyes, 15 dollars is a good deal, and unfortunately you will only be able to tell if you like it by trying it out.
