Over a year ago, I purchased a back brace and posture corrector after noticing that my shoulders were starting to round forward. I often caught myself slouching at the computer or even while sitting at the dining table. I tried to break the habit, but no sooner had I straightened up than I found myself hunched over again.The first posture corrector I bought worked well at keeping me upright, but after about 30 minutes, it started to make the front of my armpits sore and uncomfortable. To ease the discomfort, I had to wear a medium-thickness jumper underneath it, which wasn’t ideal in the warmer months. As a result, I stopped using it, and slowly but surely, the bad posture crept back in.That’s when I came across the Rakiie Posture Corrector, which promised cushioned shoulder pads, exactly where I had previously experienced the discomfort. I decided to give it a try, and I’m so glad I did. It has instantly solved the sore arm issue, and it feels like a much higher-quality product overall.It’s easy to put on, very comfortable to wear, and doesn’t dig in or rub at all. I’ve been wearing it over a thin, long-sleeved cotton T-shirt, and it’s been perfect. The materials are clearly high quality, soft, breathable, and supportive. Compared to my old corrector, this one offers far better support around the shoulders and upper back.In summary: this is a well-made, thoughtfully designed posture corrector that does exactly what it promises. I believe it’s made with premium materials and is built to last. It is well made, comfortable and supportive. You feel that you are really being held. The XL fits me well—not too tight but supportive enough. I am 5ft 7" and 105 kg, so the XXL was just what I needed. The shoulder pads are very comfortable and don’t dig into my skin, which is a big plus.My shoulders feel less tense and wearing this reminds me to sit up straight. It isn't annoying or painful in any way. I like the colour and the stitching is very good, so it really looks well made and well thought out.It is easy to put on and adjust.This will definitely go a long way to improve your posture. My problems are my neck and lower back and whilst this goes some way to helping me, I would really like something made as well as this, that would give me more lumber support, as this predominately focuses on posture correction and the upper back and shoulders.It is good quality and the price is fair at £29.99

The majority of jobs that I have undertaken over the years have involved sitting at a desk using a pc and this has continued when at home, again using a pc.Slouching, lurching forward and sometimes to the side are various upper body states I have unfortunately allowed due to bad habits over the years.I wasn't aware that this type of product existed and so I was interested to see what positive effect it may have if I tried it.The Posture Corrector comes in a nice little package and inside is the item along with a leaflet explaining how to wear the Corrector along with some do's and don'ts. It is very well made with nice materials. I chose the small size based on my waist size and when putting on found it straightforward. I didn't have issues with the fit for example under the armpits like other reviewers have said.When wearing the Corrector it feels really nice, the materials do not cause any issue and the way the Corrector has been designed means you have much scope to set the fit to your preferred choice. Even when standing or walking around I can already sense it is encouraging me to not move my chest and shoulders forward too much. I was taking apart some packaging whilst standing up and when I placed the rubbish into a bag rather than bend down in my usual lazy manner the Corrector ensured I bent down but kept my back straight as I did.So onto sitting down either at a desk or on a sofa and this is where I felt the obvious benefit. I was sat in a vary natural state with my back straight which felt "Right" and whilst this may sound strange, it is not something I have done often enough over the years.The leaflet advises wearing the Corrector for between 2 and 6 hours and so I am starting off at a shorter time and will gradually increase this. I can see this being worn when undertaking so many tasks both indoors and maybe indoors if you are out in the garden and adjusting your body shape.It is a very well designed product with great materials, a clear health benefit and value for money.
