Well-made fast computer. Love this little machine. Win11 not so much. The only thing that is less than satisfactory is the included keyboard and mouse. Some of the keys did not work and the sensitivity of the mouse is poor. Had to replace them with a real HP wireless keyboard and mouse.

My personal desktop machine is a Dell XPS-8940 with an 11th Gen Intel i9-11900 with 32 GB of RAM. This HP Elite Mini 800 G9 is a dynamo in a small footprint, with a 14th Gen Intel 20-Core i7-14700 that came with 64 GB of RAM. It's got three monitor ports, which will support three monitors. And it's got USB ports coming out your ears. Alas, none of the USB's are blue, so I can't tell if any of them are USB 3. It's so small, I'm glad it came with a place to secure it with a cable lock; this is smaller than many laptops. My preference is always a stand alone graphics card, but the Intel integrated 700 graphics is working just fine. And, for what it will be used for, even dedicating some of the 64 GB available should never be a problem.

Much faster than the machine it replaced! Windows 11 takes some getting used to, but it is no worse than learning Windows 10. Using the MS Cloud made data file transfers easier than expected. Applications on the other hand were a bit more challenging, but this is not the computer's fault. The physical size of the unit was kind of surprising, and I had to make provisions for external fan cooling, not that it is required, but I feel better using it with such a powerful CPU system in such a small physical package. A week into using this machine, and I have no complaints.

Excellent replacement for much larger PC. Amazing that so much exists in such a small pc. I bought the new Intel I9 chip, 64 gig of Ram, 2TB storage, with plenty of USB ports and all other ports needed to setup a monitor, sound system, video/mic for Zoom calls, keep board, physical internet and wireless connection, and everything else packed into this small tower.

It's great when it works. I took a year to actually install the computer (it was a replacement for my server and I just kept using it until I couldn't) and it ran great for the first month and a half. The Windows updates it runs keep getting it stuck. It's doing automatic repairs every forced reboot (the automatic part of updates) and I'm having to force the recovery as it gets stuck at the blue logo screen. I loved the reviews and thought this would be a great server for my small business and work for many years (my previous computer was amazing, but too old to install Win 11). I was WRONG! And at my busiest time of year, I'm experiencing down time I've not had in over 20+ years. Yet with all my research, I'm finding this is "common" for HP. The first time it did this, with some research and advice using ChatGPT, I was back up around an hour later. Today, I had to go find my bitlocker as it decided something was bad and locked me out of the computer. Talk about stress and a wasted 2 hours in following the list of getting it back up.
