Great Alternative to the G5 cube
Was also surprised to see this come with a power adapter. Have to return the ones I purchased separately.

Sort of worked for a bit
This is a clucky solution to a docking station, what i was looking for was an easy (one touch) way to plug my lap top in and use my normal keyboard and monitor. I was able to connect all my accessories to the dock and then I had to run a cord from the dock to my computer. It was ok but the cord was in the way. I was able to use the monitor and key board this way for about a year. then my monitor started "losing the signal" and eventually the dock just stopped working. For essentially a pass-through device that I paid $150 for, I expected it to last a little longer. Its not like I was hauling it around, it just sat on my desk.

Excellent oroduct
I bought this so that I could set up my office workstation at home with 2 monitors. This was the product my IT department recommended and it works great! It’s small and I have not had any problems.

Glitchy compared to actual HP branded equivalent
I have one of these that is actually HP branded and this one. This one works but you really have to do some maneuvering. Causes flashing monitors among many other things. I kept it because it’s used in frequently, but if it was some thing I would have to use every day I would’ve returned it. The HP equivalent does not cause these problems.

Works with HP Spectre Folio Convertible 13-ak0xxx
If you're like me and was worried about compatibility issues with docking stations (see HP Site reviews and HP's own compatibility list omitting the HP Spectre Folio), please allow this to confirm, for HP Spectre Folio owners, that the G4 works very well: I will update if that changes. Regards

Included wrong cable
The docking station replaced an identical one that crashed so I paid extra to limit setup time. However, the connecting cable was way off. Instead of USB C to USB C, I got a Camera Cable USB A to Micro-USB. Neither end plugs into docking station.Makes me wonder if product was new or not?

Solid!
Certain plug ins almost short it out? Only if I’m using all 4. I probably overloaded it with chargers. Otherwise extremely good for an on the go, work from home docking station

A Must have Dock for HP Elite Book: USB-C
This is the same one you would get from HP direct if you ordered the combo, but for about 25% less. Have a new HP Elitebook and love it. I have a dock at my office and now at home. Does allow for 2 x DisplayPorts for dual monitors and that's exactly how I use it. USB-C is amazing and now know why more manufactures are going this route.
