This should be described as a mattress topper. Quite thin and it has elasticated corners to fit on to a bed. I could not imagine using this as a standalone mattress. Very soft and thin. It also took a very long time to be deliveredHowever, returns process very simple and efficient.

This cannot be used as a mattress on the floor. Despite the product description it has no substance or structure to support your back. It is very soft and would more accurately be described as a mattress topper.

Before I say how great it is, I’ll tell you the downside. This is a glorified duvet that you can lie on. If you were to use this its own just on the floor, you’d have the worst sleep of your life as it’s very soft and squishy like a marshmallow, therefore you’d be lying directly on the hard floor. BUT should you lay this on top of your own bed, Ohmygod….. softest, squishiest, warmest thing EVER. I can’t believe I’ve lived this long without it. (Is this a bit dramatic??) :)
