Need an extra port on my MacBook Pro for a dock, power and usb security key. Wasn’t sure if this would work as it says “not compatibility” for data transfer.However, it work perfectly. It now powers my MacBook with my dock in the other port, leaving a spare usb c port on the MacBook itself.Exactly what I needed and feels good quality.

Feels a little slow but could be an iOS thing. Works with my iPad Mini 6. I needed to connect the cables individually before they worked together. Again, might be an Apple thing.

Does what it says on the tin. The only downside is that it won't allow me to hook up an external SSD to my macbook so I've had to buy a suitable USB hub.

Works as described

This 2-in1 Audio Adapter arrives in a nice looking, Ugreen branded, cardboard box, that would be more than suitable should you wish to give us a gift. Inside the box is the splitter cable (complete with a plastic cap to go over the end of the USB-C plug), along with basic documentation.This adapter is well made and has a good finish throughout. When plugged in, the adapter extends out approximately 14.5cm. When the two connectors are stuck together (through the use of magnets) they are approximately 2.5 cm wide and 1 cm thick. The braided cable is relatively stiff, however remains flexible enough should you need to bend the cable at all.It is important to understand that this splitter does not convert one USB Type-C socket into two. Instead, one of the sockets is designed to be a USB-C charging port, and the other socket is designed to be a USB-C audio port. Handily, each connector has a small symbol printed on it to designate which connector is which.In use the adapter worked well. I’ve used it on a Pixel 7a, iPhone 15, and a couple other android phones and it has worked flawlessly. I saw no difference in audio quality and my phones were able to charge like normal (including fast charge).In conclusion, I’ve tried many cheap adapters but they have all not been able to both charge and allow audio (both sound and mic) at the same time, despite being advertise as being able to do so. So that’s great to finally find a product which actually works. The fact that it’s well-made and seems like it will last the test of time is a bonus. Hence this adapter get a full five stars.
