Works well for the money
I recently purchased the Nidage Wireless Endoscope and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with its performance. The wireless feature is incredibly convenient, making it easy to use without any limitations. The image quality isn't completely crystal clear, but is clear enough and the camera is able to capture most of the smallest details with enough clarity. The build quality of this endoscope is also outstanding. It is sturdy and durable, making it a reliable tool for any professional or DIY project. The adjustable LED lights are an added bonus, providing optimal lighting in any situation. I have used this endoscope for various tasks, from inspecting pipes and exploring hard-to-reach areas in my home. The device has proven to be versatile and efficient in all situations. The setup process was simple and straightforward, and the device is easy to operate. Downloading the app was a breeze, and it gave me no issues connecting to its WiFi network. Overall, I highly recommend the Nidage Wireless Endoscope to anyone in need of a reliable and efficient tool for their inspection needs. It is an excellent investment that will provide great value for years to come.

Works great
I misplaced my old one that had a small screen attached and had a shorter length cable about a year ago, or perhaps someone "borrowed it". So there have been times I needed to use it and I have been looking at all the different models. I was not sure about buying the ones that used the wifi to send the picture to another device and was on the fence about them until I watched a You tube video made by Adam Savage from Myth Busters showing this model he uses. He seems pretty impressed with the quality and operation and he knows his stuff so I figured for the price I would give it a try. I am glad I did. I have only had it a day and so far I am impressed. I downloaded the suggested viewing app into my old Galaxy 5 and charged the scope. It connected flawlessly and the picture quality is very good. I tried it on my tablet and the larger screen made it that much better. I am really sold now on the wireless feature allowing the use of different screens. Also it makes it possible to carry it in my pocket as it is less bulky than my old model and slimmer to get into tighter places with greater reach. The rechargeable feature is nice and the different lighting steps work fine. You cannot expect to get a clear focus closer than 1 inch but other than that it is perfect for inspecting areas you can't normally get too. The 3 accessories work well in case you need to retrieve small objects, look to the side and such. If it holds up well, I think for the money it is a excellent buy and well worth it.

A pretty good unit.
Works as it should, as others have mentioned the resolution is a little bit less than you might want. For the price it is a good buy.

Strong, affordable, great picture.
I have used $500+ snap on, autel, etc cameras in my profession but I always seem to personally buy the cheap eBay cameras. I usually end up losing them so I buy another. But now I have started a new job and wanted one dedicated for the shop vs taking my home camera to work. I purchased this one and was blown away this one had wireless wifi capability. I don't have to cringe sticking a Chinese cord into my phone. As well as the app is available on the app store vs setting my phone to developer mode so I can download the sketchy app lol. This camera was 6$ more than my last purchased one, which I thought was due to inflation in current times. I didn't know $6 would triple the options and quality. The only downside is that it didn't have a tin case like my last one did. But that was remedied by buying a small bead container on Amazon and everything fits nicely. This thing has a ton of uses. I have seen down 3 cylinders of cars now. Today was a gas tank hose. Last week was an oil pressure sender I needed to view while running to find a leak and the only way I could see it is if I took the intake manifold off which would not allow it to run. This gets into places a mirror can't. And honestly it's probably cheaper than a mirror off a tool truck anyway. My old cameras I would usually need some help with additional light. This one produces enough to not have that problem. While it is a bummer it only has on off mode vs dimming, I'm not complaining since I haven't ran into an issue with it yet, and usually cranked my other camera lights all the way up anyway.

It’s so easy to use
The endoscope is very light to use & paired to my iPhone with ease, it has lighting options of hi med low or off is only around a 1/4 inch diameter so l used piece of lightweight polly hose to insert it behind a panel on my boat l needed to check behind before going to the trouble of removing it. I was very impressed with the performance. You just need to work out a stabilizing set up to suit your needs on a long reach or it shakes due-to the lightness of the cable even though it’s possible to bend it into any position to suit you needs. I love the video capabilities & for the size of the unit the quality is quite amazing. Lastly I also paired it to my ipad for a bigger screen. You definitely need WiFi to use it & the phone workin on data works just as well as a regular signal

Not as advertised - not HD, not 2MP, still a decent endoscope
This WiFi endoscope only transmits a 512x480 image back to the phone. It is then stretched to 640x480, then stretched again to fit your screen or any pictures taken. This is true for the live image, video recordings, and still pictures, regardless of app settings. Their image is not 2 million pixels - it is 0.25 million pixels -- one eighth the advertised resolution. It is not even standard definition (SD), much less high definition (HD). Details The horizontal stretching distortion can be seen by pointing the camera at any pattern of squares (like graph paper) and comparing the lengths of the square sides. The software upscaling can be seen by comparing their "high-res" images to a scaled version of their low res images. I've attached images of a cleaning rag with a hair comparing their 1920x1080 jpg and their 640x480 jpg scaled with software to 1920x1080--they are identical. I've also compared a closeup from a 1/2 inch square grid pattern from both of their resolutions as well as a standard smartphone actually shooting 1920x1080. You can see how much more detail the true HD reveals. Still a decent product This is still a convenient instrument at a great price, and I am keeping it. It is much smaller than my older endoscope, and is easy to manipulate since the screen (my phone) is not attached. The resolution will usually be adequate for my needs (the intentional distortion is frustrating, though--like a funhouse mirror). If the battery runs out, it will still work if plugged into a USB charger. Seller contact Before posting this I contacted the seller/manufacturer through Amazon. They first confirmed I was configuring the system correctly and then asked that I try alternate software, which I did--I tried a total of 3 almost-identical apps. I sent them the evidence of software upsampling. Then they said "For the fluency of the product, the wireless module has a certain limit to the fineness of the picture. If you let go of the code stream, there will be freezes and blurry screens," but they will "find a development technician to deal with it. It will take some time." I suspect they do have an actual 2M pix camera, and originally sent a high-res image back, but then had reliability issues, so changed the system to only send 512x480. For this Amazon product page they have removed most references to 1080p (the "p" means "progressive", and only applies to video), and in the questions/answers section the seller has said video is always only 640x480. However, they should not claim 1920x1080 image quality if they are upsampling. You don't get HD details.

Quality product, worked as described, perfectly.
This is a great product, it took under 30 seconds to connect to my phone using their app. The app is ‘HD WiFi’ you can go in and choose the quality level of recording. Camera has (3) levels of built in light brightness, it is totally remote and the head is super tiny around 5.5mm and flexible and stiff enough to maintain the memory in the bend but not too stiff to flex through something if you had to push it. It comes with (3) additional heads to screw on. Magnetic, 45deg with a mirror (as small as the head), and a hook. You just screw existing shield off and screw one of these little heads on. I used it to peer inside a cylinder head through a small spark plug hole. It was GREAT, I could see everything in there very clearly. I was able to video it, save it, photograph it. I can’t believe this thing is $25, it is incredible quality for the price. Highly recommend if you need a tiny camera to fit just about anywhere, and document or find something. Great product! Thank you! Will recommend to friends. EJ

Surprised for the money!
I'll start by saying I too found this via Adam Savage's YouTube channel...and I am glad I did! Wi-Fi seems to be the best way to go vs Bluetooth versions. The quality "feels" middle of the road; not cheap but not like higher end borescopes. Like others have said, the mirror attachment is pretty useless but the magnet and hook are okay. I like the attachments screw on rather than snap on (which shaves paint and metal off everytime). I'm a maintenance technician and the image quality for live feed or still shots is pretty good. At 30fps, the videos are too choppy for my taste but at this price...it's negligible. I could only load one video but I have a video of the camera in a toilet tank; if you shake it after submerging it, the air bubble that makes you think it won't show a clear image submerged goes away and the image is almost as clear as not submerged. All in all you get way better function than you'd think at this price point. Happily recommend it if ultra high clarity/lab quality isn't an issue. 5th star will come if I get at least a year out of it minus a user type error happening like getting the only part not waterproof wet or dropping it from any height (they warn you not to allow it to fall from any height so it's impact resistance must be low).
