Great for camping or road trips!
These freeze dried strawberries are great for a nutritious snack on the go! They pack a ton of strawberries in the bag and they should last a long time with no moisture in the bag. This makes it ideal for camping or road trips where you don't have refrigeration available. They taste pretty good and I can tell the package is telling the truth about nothing being added. They taste just like freeze dried strawberries. They're not super sweet so no sugar is added, and all the moisture being gone probably got rid of the natural sweetness, but they are tart and not bad at all!

Great
I got these with the hope that I could convince the kids to eat more fruit. They are pretty hit or miss when it comes to things that are actually good for them. So, I was pretty hopeful that these would help that...and they did.As soon as they got here I decided to open them up and try them. Immediately my four-year-old wanted to try them - as little kids do when anyone else is eating something. I gave him a small handful and he said they were delicious. I also thought they were pretty tasty and felt like the berries were likely harvested at a good time because they were perfectly sweet.Although they are great as is, I'm planning on finding different ways to use them. And, as long as the kids keep enjoying them, I intend to continue buying them. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to have something available for a quick snack. The only odd thing is that it is recommended they be stored in the refrigerator to maintain the crunchiness of the berries. So, keep that in mind if you are interested in buying them.

Perfect for blueberry cereal
I wanted these for one primary reason. I wanted to turn cereal that wasn't blueberry cereal into blueberry cereal. That's exactly what these do. If I dump them in cereal that doesn't have blueberries, now it does. It's not all that complex, but it works. These taste exactly the same as every other freeze dried blueberry I've ever had. Much like non-freeze-dried blueberries they aren't that sweet. That's good, considering I can dump a ton of them in my cereal and not turn it into a sugary mess. Speaking of dumping a ton of them in the cereal, you can do that, or not. That's the lovely thing about having this bag, you can put however many blueberries you want in there. Personally, I like dumping a ton of them in there. It makes the milk nice and purple afterwards. They are obviously freshly freezedried. Well that means is that they aren't chewy, or hard. They have that soft crunchiness to them. In other words, they are perfect to pop in your mouth if you just want to eat some. They taste like freeze dried blueberries. If you like regular blueberries, you'll probably like these. The bag is resaleable. You'll want to keep it sealed, because freeze dried anything tends to attract water and end up stale quite quickly if you expose it to the air. That goes doubly true if it's humid. It's quite humid where I am, especially right now, so that's definitely good. These would also be good for baking or really anywhere you could put blueberries. Just remember that if a recipe calls for fresh blueberries, then that recipe is probably going to need altered a little bit. Fresh blueberries obviously contain water. These do not. Usually, you want to use about 1/4 as much freeze-dried blueberries as you would fresh. One tip, rehydrate them. That's for baking. If you try to make something like muffins with these without rehydrating them, the recipe might end up a little dry. Most any blueberry muffin recipe that uses fresh blueberries is made in such a way that the blueberries themselves contribute to the moisture. Freeze-dried blueberries are not going to contribute to the moisture considering they don't have any. Stick them in some water for a while, and that problem is solved.

Great strawberries for snacking!
Exactly as I expected, a no frills bag of dehydrated strawberries. Delicious! I use these to add to my morning bowl of cereal. They taste great, similar to the strawberries that come in Special K cereal, but I enjoy these more because they are larger and have a nice crispy "crunch".I'm not a baker, so I can't vouch for that. But I have been snacking on these quite often. I'll definitely be taking these on my next camping trip.
