BASICS Cotton Canvas

Quality material for what you’re paying for. It’s an affordable price and the size of it is nice and slim, so other than it being a bit long it is easy to store in a small room or dorm. The texture is a little rough, pretty standard canvas texture but VERY easy to gesso over and make smooth if that’s what you like. It functions very well especially if you’re using this for college and don’t have the time to actually sit there and build your own canvas. Material such acrylic paint adheres very well to the actual canvas. I’m sure you can find higher quality canvas if you paid significantly more money, but if you aren’t a stickler and looking for the best bang for your buck look no further.

Honestly, I was a little disappointed in this canvas. Not only was it shipped poorly and arrived dented because of improper packaging, it was also a little flimsy and unremarkable. It is a step above the 8 packs of canvas I can buy at Michael’s but I expected more from Liquitex on this one.
