They do not work
This is an inferior product. The case is not leather. They do not cut, and I doubt very much that they were made in solingen, do not buy this product

Dainty and precise
My German friend had these, I borrowed them once and being quite impressed by the precision, sharpness and neatness (also how compact they are) I had them on my wish list for a while.Then I finally got them. They might feel a bit flimsy at first compared to the standard chunkier nail clippers but they have a very dainty mechanism. They don’t open very wide and it almost feels like you need to learn to use them (especially if you are used to the standard bigger and heavier nail clippers).Perhaps I would say/assume these are better for the finger nails, I haven’t done my toenails with them, yet.

Not the german precision as you would expect
Poorly made, the cutting side is not aligned (please see pictures), not the German well made item as you would expect. I have strong feelings we get on Amazon the one badly made or their are some double standards applied. It is not the first time I buy Solingen items on Amazon and are not as good as buying directly from Solingen website.
