Skullcandy is the expectation to my ears and what they did
Let me tell you my experiment with these earbuds. I ordered the earbuds. Got them in the mail the next couple of days. I read all the directions on how to get it started. And I noticed that my right earbud was not wanting to charge correctly. The left earbud would charge to 100%.. right earbud only wanted to charge anywhere from 94% to 98% and not 100%.. I charged the complete case with the earbuds in it. Still the right earbud was at 94% and the left earbud was 100%. I decided to wear them for a couple of hours. Well I noticed within 30 minutes my right earbud went from 94 to 60 % when my left ear bud was 92%. I quite didn't understand what was going on to make the right earbud do what it did. So I got in contact with Skullcandy and they told me that I needed to reset and uninstall the app. So I did everything that they said to do. And still nothing happened. So I returned them. And got to replacement. And let me tell you I've had these for a couple of days and they work perfectly fine. They charge correctly. The earbuds are fine The bass in the sound is great. I've had other earbuds in the past that were noise canceling. But none of them were the supreme notch on these earbuds. I've never Bose earbuds before. But knowing that Bose is the top of the line for their radios that they had back in the days and for their headphones. I would say these are the great . Like when I put these in my ears I can hear what they do to my ears as a noise canceling sucks in the outside and closes it. Some earbuds will say that they have noise canceling but they could be 30% noise canceling 50%. But with these I believe that these are 100% noise canceling to my ears. They are great around the house, being outdoors, and going on vacation. The one thing that I wish that they had done was where I could say hey Alexa and have Alexa interact with me through the earbuds. Now for the color I got back. I wish they had a dark blue or a dark gray. I wish they had a flame one that was fire on the black one with the flame symbols on it. Something about flames and black stand out that I like. For the value of the money on these earbuds. Skullcandy has other earbuds that you can get that are lower in price than what these are. I would have to say for the value of the money of these I would say they do what they do for the price.

Stay-Aware mode for the win!
I have been using various Skullcandy headphones since the early 2000s and these are by far my favorite. The sound quality it very well balanced right out of the box, but is tunable with the app. The swappable ear pieces give you a very custom fit; after close to an hour I barely noticed they were there. The ANC is not perfect; with no audio playing sound is muffled, but not "gone", but with music background noise is mostly nonexistent. All of these are great, but for me, the real standout is Stay-Aware Mode. It's very much an under rated function. The best I can tell, it uses the microphones from the ANC as a pass through allowing you to hear the same as if you weren't wearing headphones at all (until you speak that is, then you hear yourself like you have ear plugs in). Not having to take out an ear bud every time someone wants to talk to you (or if you have kids or pets you need to be able to hear) is amazing!

Maybe defective?
Update April 2026: They stopped working completely a couple of weeks back so we issued a refund, Amazon gave us instructions and we followed them to the T including where to drop them off. Skull candy issued a early refund, all is going well until nearly a month later we get email from skull candy saying they never received the package and are going to charge us. so we contacted amazon which made us jump through AI assistants hops and crap, we temporarily gave up and contact skull candy for them to tell us; "For Skullcandy to look up a return, we must have a Skullcandy-issued RMA number (formatted like RMA-1234567). Amazon order numbers or tracking numbers unfortunately won’t allow me to access the return in our system. Could you please check your email to see if you ever received a return confirmation from Skullcandy with an RMA number? It may be in your spam or junk folder". Amazon never gave us a RMA number so skull candy couldn't do anything. eventually we got a hold of a real person on Amazon who said they would take care of it and not to worry about any messages they fixed on their end. two weeks go by and we again get the pop up in the orders area on Amazon and an email, we ignore it because we were told not to worry about any messages amazon fixed it. Date in the new email saying to return before getting charged goes by and we got charged because nobody can find the product now we are out the money for the skull candy earbuds and don't even have the product. Original Review: The sound quality is good, and I love that when you take one ear bud out it pause the music. The case seems fragile but hasn't broken yet however my Husband only took it to work one day before deciding it wouldn't workout it kept turning the music on and off as the sun went behind clouds or bending up and down or the wind hit it. The charging port on the container doesn't have a cover to keep dirt or water out. The right ear disconnects a lot, powers off or doesn't turn on at first when pulled out and sometimes makes a horrible eeeeeeee sound while in the case until we readjust it as well as both ear buds don't seem to hold charge more than 6 hours if that before needing atleast half an hour or so recharge in the case and then you have to charge up both earbuds again and case in another 6 or so hours. Also not for small ears I have been using them inside since my husband stopped using them, unfortunately we throw away the packaging so I don't know if they will let us return it.

Good but not SkullyCandy Quality
I’ve been pretty loyal to this brand for years. The other brands I do have are JBL, Bose and Apple/Beats, so some of my comparisons stem from those products, but I’ve always used SkullyCandy more than my higher end brands. The general idea with ALL of their products I have had over the years is that they’re above average quality for their price. They’re not cheap, they’re not expensive, they are a perfect in between. They eventually run their course within a year or two, but their warranty is more supportive than higher end brands. They actually REPLACE them free of charge(this could have changed, i’m not asking for a replacement for these lol) With all that being said, these are the worst I have had from this brand. Like a lot of other reviews I have read, I agree that they do have connection issues. The primary one I notice every time I use them, they randomly cut out for a few milliseconds, something I have never experienced with this brand. Another common complaint I see is that the right ear bud eventually just stops working, literally like every skull candy I have had, but sooner. Lastly don’t even bother trying to have a decent conversation with these, the connection issues obviously will affect the conversation. PROS, the ANC isn’t perfect but it’s noticeable; Do not expect Bose Level noise cancellation. The fit of the buds are good and they come with different sizes. The battery is great, and on par with other companies. TLDR. If you can deal with the small issues, these are still a decent buy. Just know you will replace these within a year, within two if you’re lucky. Again, I am speaking as someone who knows what SkullCandy has been capable of. In my opinion, this was a downgrade.

Great quality for the price.
The Skullcandy Method 360 ANC offers a fantastic mix of stability, noise management, and bold sound. They are particularly well-suited for users who find traditional "beans" or stems too easy to drop or lose. If you want earbuds that can keep up with a heavy-duty daily routine while providing a private listening sanctuary, these are a top-tier contender.

Just what I'd hoped for
I'd used many models in the Samsung Galaxy Buds lineup, the last being a couple pairs of the Buds 2 Pros. While I liked the Samung earbuds, I put about 30 hours of use on the headphones weekly and they never held up for more than 3 or 4 months. One earbud (most always the right) would lose volume and quality until it failed to produce listenable sound at all. I'd use the Samung warranty, then the extended warranty that I'd purchased, then buy another pair and start over. Which each new model I'd hoped Samung had fixed the durability issues, but they never had, so I finally decided to try something new. In comes the Method 360s. I've been using these guys for nearly a year now and they haven't lost sound volume or quality in the slightest. While the higher frequencies might not be quite as clear or expansive as the Buds 2 Pros, I think they sound great for the price and I love their punchy bass. The volume on the highest setting also seems to be a little louder than other earbuds that I've had, which can be nice. I'm not impressed with their ANC. I hardly notice it compared to my Bose over-the-ear headphones, but it's not an issue when paired with their passive noise cancelation and I wasn't impressed with the Buds 2 Pros ANC, either. I have some connectivity issues here and there where one bud won't pair with my Samsung phone out of the case. I'll put the earbud back in the case and take it out again and then I'm good to go. I've never lost Bluetooth connection once paired. All in all, I think these are good buds for a good price I finally decided to try something else and that's where these

Major quality control issues
The sound quality on these earphones is amazing. This is the first time ive ever used any earphones with active noice cancelation and I can't go back anymore. Coming from 3 year old skullcandy rails before, this is definitely a big step up. Charging is with a usb-c connection so I just use the cable I have for charging my phone. Makes it really convenient and easy. The battery lasts about 5 days with 3 hours a day of usage, probably can get 6 days but I charge them after 5 days just in case. Now, all that being said, there are some issues unfortunately. Issues I believe stem from quality control, or lack thereof. First of all, the first set I got ended up constantly dropping audio. The audio would completely cut out and go silent while the song continued on so it sounded like random sound cutting out. The anc still remained on but the audio would just cut out constantly. So I had to ask for a replacement. Now, the 2nd pair worked better but every now and then the audio would still cut out, to the point of it being almost twice a day and I use these things 5 days a week for about 3 hours a day. Thats gonna be -1 star. Another issue is that the left earbud would not turn on by itself when pulled out of the case like the right earbud would. Id always have to turn it on manually by holding the touch sensor on the left bud for a few seconds. Not a big issue if it was only once but it is every single time I want to use them. Thats twice a day, 5 days a week at least. The rails never had this issue. So thats -1 star again. Lastly, after only 6 months of use the left earbud's casing split apart when I pulled it out of my ear. That's something id expect to happen after years of use, not 6 months. So I had to RMA them through the 1 year manufacturer's warranty. Thats yet another -1 star The newest ones, my 3rd pair of these earphones now, seem to be working much better. Rarely drops the audio, both earbuds turn on when pulled out of the case as well. Here's hoping they last more than 6 months.. if not, after having used skullcandy for the past 15+ years and recommending them to all my friends and family, I might finally have to switch to a new brand. Cause at this price point, thats far too many issues sadly. All in all, audio quality is amazing on these things, but build quality definitely leaves something to be desired.

Good for the price but not the best.
I like the quality of sound. By far the best that I’ve tried. They don’t make my ears itchy either. The sound is great and the app allows for custom tuning. ANC is pretty great because I can use it with only one bud connected. However it says 9hrs of run time but that’s not accurate. I went from 100% on one bud to 27% in 2 hours on stay aware. Not very happy with the battery life. I work 12 hours and I was expecting to only have to change earbuds once a day instead of 6. That’s the main reason for 3 stars instead of 5. I also don’t like that the app doesn’t tell me what percent the case is at. You have to go off the color of the light on the charging port. The quality of the case seems good and not magnetic like AirPods which means no metal attaching itself to the case. Just more to be desired but I am coming from AirPod pros. These are a million times more comfortable but a fraction of the price and sound quality and phone quality seems great so far. Edit to add: I just put the right earbud back in the case to charge since it alerted it was at 28%. I saw it didn’t light up to charge and when I reconnected it the bud said it was at 100% again. I don’t think it’s recharging at all and that’s why the bud is dying faster. I’ve included screenshots for proof.

Decent
Amazing headphones! Sound and noise cancelling quality is great, fit in the ear is snug but comfortable, I can kinda forget it’s even in there. Really good customisation through the app too. Case feels a little cheap but does the job, battery life is good and easy to carry. Would say it’s a little expensive too since it feels overall quite cheaply built, but the quality of sound makes up for that.

Deludenti
