A great treat but not quite my mom’s Juusto Leipää!
I love it, it tastes great and even has a fabulous squeak while chewing it! It’s a little on the expensive side but when you consider the cost of ingredients and equipment to make it, then it’s a great deal! Not quite the same as my mom made while I was growing up but tastes close enough for a little nostalgia!

Very mild cheese. Not what I expected
Very mild cheese. Practically tasteless. Not what I expected. About the same consistency as gouda or edam, a bit softer.

Great option for meatless meal.
The chesse gets crusty in the skillet like when a grilled chesse that drips onto the skillet but doesn't burn. I think it's a great easy, quick main course.
