I’ve used Drunk Elephant’s marula oil before and loved it—but my wallet definitely didn’t. So I gave The Ordinary’s version a shot, and honestly? It’s basically the same thing.This oil is super hydrating, makes my skin feel soft and glowy, and it absorbs really well without leaving me greasy. I use it in the morning and at night after my serums, and I wake up with my skin looking plump and happy. This product from the Ordinary feels exactly like the pricier versions from other companies. it does take a bit to soak in, but I've noticed that on every marula oil I've tried - that might be a specific result for my skin. I use it only once a week after a mini-facial with AHA and BHA, as recommended by the facial mask bottle. This works perfectly. No difference between the Ordinary and the sample provided by the face mask and much cheaper than the other company's version.My skin feels soft and fresh after application. This is safe for my sensitive skin.

This oil is definitely moisturizing. I bought it as a lightweight daytime option, but it left a slight oily sheen at first. It absorbed into my skin throughout the day, just not immediately. I also mixed a bit into my leave-in conditioner, which made my hair really shiny. Overall, a good-quality oil for both face and hair.

I use this with my gua sha, and it has a light feel with high absorbency. It is easy to apply and doesn't make a mess. Because I don't use on a regular basis, I can't say for sure if it changes my skin tone or appearance, but it is effective at providing slip and moisturization for tools such as gua sha.

This is an excellent product. It is great for your hair, and I love the effects it has on my skin. I use it by itself twice a day and it has done wonders for my skin. I also add a little bit to my foundations, and it gives a glass skin effect. This is the second bottle I have purchased and will continue to buy more. I also am a great fan of the Ordinary which is an excellent brand, and the price of its products are extremely reasonable.

This is at least the third bottle I have purchased. I use this after washing my face and using my serum. It absorbs into skin quickly and does not cause blemishes on my skin. I’m 50 years old with normal skin in summer and slightly dry in tzone in winter. I also use it on my elbows and knees and rub into my hands after applying to face. The price is an excellent value. I have found that using it under my eyes has helped with holding in hydration after using my eye serum.

I’ve tried other brands but ordinary is my favorite so far. A little amount goes a long way! My skin feels hydrated even next day.

Excellent quality facial oil! Light feel and texture...sinks into the skin beautifully! The price is so very affordable and just as nice (or better!) than so many others I have used at triple the price! Very calming and soothing without any fragrance. What a great find! I've already bought my second bottle!!
