For my Escooter. Before oil threads. Warning ! It grips ONLY with the very TIPS of the fingers ! My solution: Building a LEXAN HOLDER, with bottom, and sides on it, slots on sides for fingers. Then, I just slide my GPS in place, and no worries ! Beats using rubber bands, that rot in sun. Fast in/out for Road Trips, where I may dismount scooter & walk around. Slide it out, into my pocket ! I will add a photo, after I get it Built. ( have several projects ahead of this, so check back next month ). UPDATE (photos) ! Got around bad gripping by some Dremel work on the "fingers", some Lexan, and NOW I have something I can trust in !

need a non slip phone case to get a good grip. phone must be almost vertical for camera to be level. (this mount includes a go pro type camera mount.)

I have been using it for 2 years with no issues on my bicycle. Sturdy and Reliable. I would not use without the band though.

Ok so hear me out not all cases are made for this thing! Went through a couple phones cases the past year and not alone are made for this design! If your case has round sides do not buy this, but if you have something that is squared, kind of like an otter box defender case you will be fine! Remember if you hit jumps and stuff no matter how hard you tighten it that ring will probably shake loose. I recommend adding an additional retention system I used hair ties to the corners of the phone and worked great.

I used this on my 4,500 mile bike tour across the US and it was great the whole time. I had a couple accidents where I didn't quite tighten in my phone enough but that's my own fault. It held up very well through the elements for the whole trip and it's still mounted to my tour bike after the trip is over. I've now bought three of these to use on various bikes that I have and if I ever need another, right here is where I'll be going.

For starters, if you buy this, make sure you get the one with the rubber piece, it will add way more security from your phone falling out. My phone actually has fallen off of this thing at least 3 times now because I neglect to put on the rubber part sometimes, but I assume that is because my case isnt the sturdiest in the world and causes it to slip out of the clamp grip. Other than that, this thing is a beast, full metal and sturdy, i have knocked my bike over several times and it got hit, and the phone holder came out fine with just some scratches. With the rubber attachment piece on it, your phone is as secured as you could possibly ever make it, it will not fall out. without the rubber piece, some phone cases may cause your phone to just fall out, as the clamp arms aren't that high at all.Overall, great product, don't buy a plastic one that will break in the same place all of the other plastic ones break in, get this thing.

Update: Lowering my review to 2 stars. My phone popped out of the mount.I've since switched to this mount: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09TDL664Z which has much longer arms and includes bottom feet so your phone is always aligned properly. It's much better.----Orig review:As long as you're either willing to take your phone out of its case or use a thin silicone type case, this is a really good phone mount. The angle of the fingers is just right for my iPhone X and can handle somewhat thicker phones as well.They give you adhesive rubber for the fingers, which works great - but I don't know how long the rubber will last. I put some 3M Mastic tape on the bottom of the mount so I wouldn't scratch my phone's bottom - not that it would but I'm paranoid. And the rubber tape has just enough give and isn't slippery so the phone won't slip out as you're mounting or dismounting it. If my phone had a silicone case I probably wouldn't have bothered.The screw adjustment to clamp the phone is easy to work and holds securely and gives you enough "feel" so that you know the right amount of tightness.I haven't used the GoPro mount piece, but may later.I like that the mount attachment is off-center. I placed the holder above my stem and it almost means the phone can be centered since the clamp obviously has to be off to the side of the stem. I did put a piece of electrical tape on my handlebar before putting the clamp in place, just to prevent scratches on my carbon handlebars.The worst thing about this is the clamp bolt, 5mm head, is one of those anti-theft jobs with a little post sticking up in the middle so a regular hex wrench won't work. They give you the special hex wrench, but really why bother? Of all the things to loosen on my bike, a $20 phone holder is not going to get stolen compared to my $125 saddle. It's just silly and annoying and why I took a star off.

Solid quality parts! Well made product.But... except the limitations by design don't make sense to me. Do people still own phones and not protect them with some sort of case? Especially people who mountain bike or cycle? This works great if you have a slim phone, like the S7, with no case and don't mind placing all the torque on your phone. Otherwise any phone case will slide right out because the arms are so short and stubbly. I took another person's idea and went ahead and ordered the silicone bands to help secure it, and that works pretty good, which makes me happy. Otherwise I am not interested in strapping my expensive phone to my bike and risk having it destroyed if I bail just because I had to run it without a case. If I was a roadie or green way rider this would be perfect!Just a thought, you all have an awesome product... make something rugged and protective along the same lines for the mountain bikers!

Lo he usado en mi bici de montaña, en una rodada en el campo con algunas decenas de kilómetros en caminos accidentados y empedrados. Sujetó perfectamente mi iPhone 8 plus, y para mi sorpresa nunca se aflojó. Práctico también para disponer del movil para tomar una foto.Es muy ligero, pero hasta ahora no ha dado signos de fragilidad.UPDATE: Después de varias salidas a montaña, se comenzó a aflojar durante la rodada un par de veces y se desliza hacia abajo el cel un par de centimetros, y hay que estar pendientes de subirlo ligeramente y volver a apretar el tornillo. Comparado con otras opciones, me sigue pareciendo bueno.

ガッチリ固定されます！スマホの脱着も簡単に出来てストレスないです。ただ、クッションとか無く金属部分でホールドするのでケース付けてないとスマホに傷付くかもです。自分は金属のバンパーが剥げました。それでも使いやすさとホールド感が良いので☆5にします。
