This was a gift to my niece, she loves it!! She calls it her "pink apple pie" because she calls her mum's tablet her "apple pie", so this was a major hit. Only thing is she won't share it lol, but she's just 2 yrs old so it's ok for now. She's not as obsessed with her parents phones or tablets now, so a great learning toy and distraction for a busy little girl xx

This is a very good toy. It is fun and you learn with it. I bought it for my two year old son and he adores it. You connect it to a computer and write the name of your child say Romeo. so each time you turn it on it says "Hello Romeo" you don't choose from pre-set names, you write whatever your child is known as say Sammy, Johnie, Kiki, Nikki, or any short cut name. It allows you to make that choice, so it makes the toy so personal for your child. It calls his name now and then. The email too is a brilliant idea. as we listen to the emails I composed to my son. he just beams with excitement! It is a good toy both for fun and learning. You learn have 26 alphabets with different 26 sounds of any musical instrument, 26 different sounds of different animals, 26 names of animals that begin with each letter of the alphabet and some music. How brilliant! and it celebrates the letter that begins with your child's name. The battery life is also good. It takes only 2 small batteries and really lasts. my little boy adores it and i think is a very good bargain and worth every penny. No regrets.

My 2.5 year old loves this! She likes to sit at the kitchen counter and type on her leaptop while I am checking my email on the netbook. She is learning some of the alphabet sounds and other things from it too. But beware - it is for a toddler, so the sounds of the letters are limited, as are the options. But at 2.5, too many options is actually a bad thing. So far the product has proven very durable and easy to clean. Downsides include a ridiculously large installation software to personalize 3 emails and one song for her. But really, with the other things on here, she doesn't need that much personalization. Some of her friends in nursery school got the leap pad. But it is way too advanced for a 2 year old. Even if she does like the games on the leap pad, what happened with her friends is that it got cracked, broken, the cards for the games got lost, etc. She just isn't ready for that yet. The leap pad says it is for 5 and up, and it really, truly is. She does great with this and I will be upgrading to the leap pad when she is old enough not to lose or damage it. Highly recommend this for toddlers.
